There are three main factions in Dynasty Warriors: Origins, each of which has its own unique storyline full of exciting twists and turns. Players will need to decide which faction they want to fight alongside during the game’s third chapter, after which, they’ll be locked in until the end credits start to roll.

How to Get Cao Cao’s True Ending in Dynasty Warriors Origins
Those hoping to unlock the true ending for Wei will need to save Dian Wei and Guo Jia and then stop Huang Gai from burning Cao Cao’s fleet at Chibi.
Although most of the story is set in stone, there are a few points where players have a chance to alter the fate of certain characters, which can result in a slightly different conclusion. To get the true ending for Wu, Dynasty Warriors: Origins players will need to save two key members of the Sun clan.
How to Unlock the True Ending for Wu in Dynasty Warriors: Origins (Sun Clan Secret Ending)
Players hoping to unlock the true ending for Wu will need to save Sun Jian at the Battle of Xiangyang and then save Sun Ce at the Suppression of Wu. If done correctly, completing the final battle of Chapter 5 will result in them getting a different ending in which Sun Jian and Sun Ce are able to secure the Emporer while everybody else is busy at the Battle of Chibi. This process is a bit more complicated than the one required to get Shu’s true ending, but a whole lot easier than trying to get Wei’s.
How to Save Sun Jian during the Battle of Xiangyang (Chapter 3)
In a normal playthrough of the Battle of Xiangyang, players are instructed to push on and leave Sun Jian behind. Instead, they should head toward the large central area and then attempt to take the exit in the bottom left-hand corner. Before they can go any further, they’ll need to defeat a phantom version of Zhang Jiao. If he’s not there when they first arrive, they may need to wait a little while until he shows up.
With Zhang Jiao defeated, players should push on toward Sun Jian, who’s in a cave in the very bottom left-hand corner of the map. When players reach him, a cut-scene in which Ziluan saves him from a falling bolder will trigger and a Fate Altered message will appear on the screen. After that, Sun Jian will ask to be escorted from the battlefield and the mission will come to an end.
How to Save Sun Ce during the Suppression of Wu (Chapter 4)
Although the main aim of this battle is to save Sun Ce, players will need to spend the first few minutes of it protecting Sun Quan, who will almost certainly be forced to flee without their intervention. With this in mind, they’ll want to defeat as many enemy officers as possible in the central part of the map, being sure to visit all of the battlegrounds that are marked with letters to help out their comrades in arms.
After a few minutes, Sun Ce will capture a base to the left of the map’s center and then start talking about how the nearby forest would be a great place for enemy troops to hide. As soon as he does this, players should head to the bottom left-hand corner of the map. At the most southerly point of the forest, they’ll be met with a phantom army and will need to take out phantom Yan Baihu.
With Yan Baihu defeated, players should travel north while hugging the wall to the left. If they look closely, they’ll find the entrance to a secret cave hidden behind some vines. Bailuan is waiting inside and will summon a bunch of phantom enemies to support him in battle. After they defeat Bailuan, the Fate Altered message will appear once again, at which point, players should return to the central area and complete the rest of the battle as normal.

How to Secure the Emporer during the Battle of Chibi (Chapter 5)
Unlike with Wei’s true ending, players won’t need to do anything differently in the final battle to unlock the true ending for Wu. Assuming they’ve saved Sun Jian and Sun Ce, all they’ll need to do is complete the Battle of Sanjiangkou and the Battle of Chibi as usual. If they’re on their first playthrough of the Sun clan storyline, they’ll need to play through the rest of Chapter 5 to reach them, otherwise, they can just head to the Inn and use the newly created restart point in the Story menu to jump straight to the last two battles.
Players will unlock the “The True Future of Wu” Trophy / Achievement if they complete the Wu story with the true ending.
