The QCQ171 in Delta Force is a rapid-fire SMG with a fair bit of versatility baked into it. This weapon starts off a bit hard to use, but once you get the right attachments, it becomes a competent close-quarters weapon with a lightning-fast and very consistent body shot TTK.
While it’s hard to compare the CQC171 to the best SMGs in Delta Force, it’s a still balanced weapon that trades ranged consistency for improved short-ranged firepower. However, as a weapon outside the game’s leveling rewards track, players will have to overcome a few simple hurdles before they can get their hands on it.

How to Unlock the CQC171 in Delta Force
Unlike the majority of weapons in the game as of Season Starfall, the CQC171 is unlocked via an event called Arms Race – CQC171. This is a limited-time mode that runs from Jan. 18 to Jan. 31. Thankfully, the event isn’t complicated at all, and players should be able to finish it even without paying the event much attention.
The Arms Race – CQC171 event involves completing challenges in either of Delta Force’s main game modes: Warfare and Operations. For Warfare, players will need to complete challenges in order to gain points — these challenges rotate daily and reward 25 points each. After obtaining 100 points, the QCQ171 will be unlocked.
As for Operations, players will need to reach 100 points by completing events and buy or loot the following items:
- Antler Wall Decoration
- Ancient Pirate Telescope
- Firearm Parts
- Screwdriver
Extract with these items in your inventory to unlock the QCQ171 as a craftable item.
Is The QCQ171 Any Good?
This SMG is a little rough around the edges. Perhaps its most glaring issue is its strong and erratic recoil pattern. The QCQ171 is very hard to control, and if you build it for Control and Stability, its Handling (particularly ADS speed) suffers greatly.
However, with no attachments, it has an optimal TTK of 0.23s at 15 meters, making it a competitive choice against the likes of the MP5 and Kris Vector. When fully modded for Range, Control, and Stability, the QCQ171’s optimal body shot TTK reaches 0.25s at 25 meters. So far, this is the only SMG in the game that’s this lethal at that range.
Additionally, the QCQ171’s bolt can be swapped for a faster-firing CQC bolt or one that’s slower-firing, but has longer range. This level of adaptability is also shared by the CI-19, one of the best assault rifles in Delta Force
In short, the QCQ171 is harder to control than most other SMGs, but it makes up for that for having a blistering time-to-kill value. Ultimately, using it will be up to the player’s preference, especially since consistency often trumps TTK value in practical scenarios.
