Playing PUBG Mobile on the cloud is a game-changer for players who want to enjoy the action-packed battle royale without worrying about device limitations or storage constraints. For those who don’t know, cloud gaming essentially streams the game on your device just like a YouTube livestream with the ability to control all the aspects. So, if you’re excited to get your hands on the PUBG Mobile cloud, here’s a detailed guide on how to download and install it on your smartphone.
How to download PUBG Mobile Cloud
Before we dive into the details, it’s important to keep in mind that PUBG Mobile Cloud is currently in the development phase which means you’re more likely to encounter bugs, glitches, and lag issues. There are mainly two ways to download it, and they are currently limited to Android smartphones only. Here’s how to do it:
Method 1: Google Play Store
The easiest and the most convenient method to install it is by directly heading to the Google Play Store. All you have to do is search for “PUBG Mobile Cloud” in the search bar.
Finally, hit the download button and the Google Play Store market will automatically handle the installation process for you. However, it’s worth noting that the cloud version is only available for players in Malaysia and the United States of America. So if you try to open the link from another country, the marketplace will simply show an error “The application is not available in your region”
Method 2: APK File
If PUBG Mobile Cloud isn’t available in your region, you can try sideloading the app via VPN using the following steps:
- Download the APK file from the official website.
- Go to your device Settings and tap on Security or Privacy.
- Find the option that says Unknown Sources or Install Unknown Apps and toggle it on.
- Confirm your choice by tapping OK or Allow.
- Locate the APK file on your device using a file manager app or your browser.
- Tap on the APK file and select Install.
- Wait for the installation to finish and tap on Done or Open.
Please note: Guest account data from the web version of PUBG Mobile Cloud does not sync to PUBG Mobile, so it is recommended that you download and use the app version.
