Elements enhance your weapon’s elemental attack power, allowing you to deal additional damage with specific properties. Each element applies unique effects on Abductors. By exploiting an Abductor’s elemental weakness and choosing the countering element, you can significantly reduce the difficulty of taking down that specific enemy.

  • Fire > Ice
  • Ice > Electricity
  • Electricity > Will’O
  • Will’O > Fire

The Fire Element causes Abductor parts to burn, dealing damage over time for a short duration. The Ice Element freezes Abductor parts, slowing them down and reducing their defenses. The Electricity Element delivers impact damage that can paralyze the Abductor temporarily. Finally, the Will’O Element requires a buildup; after being inflicted multiple times, it deals a significant amount of elemental damage to the enemy.

Adding an Element to a weapon is quite simple and straightforward. Progress through the story until you reach Code Level 3 Clearance. Once this happens, you will gain the option to visit the Window of Liberty and claim the Entitlement for the Grade 3 Weapon Development Facility Permit. After this upgrade, head to the Personal Responsibility Portal and select Facility Management. Inside the Weapon Development Facility, you will find the second option that allows you to add Elements to your weapons.

After selecting the weapon of your choice, you can choose either a resource or a weapon to be used as material. Using a resource will enhance a specific element, while a scrap iron can be used to reduce the effects of an element. The elements will add different properties to your weapon, allowing for enhanced customization and strategies in combat.

Like every upgrade, you can request Citizen Support to drastically lower the Entitlement Points cost required for adding an Element. Before finalizing the upgrade, a Weapon Specs screen will display how much the specific Element will increase, giving you a clear understanding of the enhancement’s impact on your weapon.
