Marvel Rivals has a bit of a visual problem that’s been gradually getting worse since release. There’s no denying it’s a stunning game, but when attacks, explosions, and Spider-Men are flying across your screen, it can be pretty difficult to discern the surrounding details. This has led to certain problems, such as people getting the Invisible Woman and Cloak & Dagger mixed up, simply because they look so similar.
Now there’s another visual problem, and it’s that pesky Invisible Woman causing issues once again. Now that Sue Storm is gracing the battlefield, it means that three characters now have an almost identical blue bubble as part of their kits, though they have wildly different purposes. The Invisible Woman’s bubble slows down enemies, Thor’s recharges his Thorforce, and Cloak & Dagger’s heals allies inside of it.
Marvel Rivals Fans Want Cloak & Dagger’s Bubble To Look Different
Unfortunately, the problem that arises with these bubbles is that there’s barely any visual indicator between them, and it seems to be causing a lot of confusion in matches. Reddit user Sudden-Substance-568 noticed the issue, which they shared with the Marvel Rivals subreddit earlier today, as they’re getting tired of people running out of their bubble while playing Cloak & Dagger.
Even when you’re not in the heat of battle, you can barely tell them apart. Take a look at the bubbles above – I would put money on you not knowing which is which. I play quite regularly and can’t even tell, having dived into many a blue bubble thinking it was put down by Cloak & Dagger, only to be deleted by the enemy team because it was actually a Thor bubble.

In that same thread, players have already come up with some neat solutions, with a user called PastelWraith suggesting that NetEase has lighting crackle around Thor’s bubble. Other users like _Comicallycluttered suggest changing the color of Thor’s bubble to yellow, keeping his lightning theme intact. Others suggest making Cloak & Dagger’s bubble green since it’s the only one that heals.
Hopefully, it’s something that NetEase addresses in a future update, like it did with the Hawkeye and Hela nerfs. It can also nerf Moon Knight while it’s there too, as many (yours truly as well) feel like the damage of his ultimate and the speed of which he gets it back is far too devastating.
