Kakarot’s Daima Part 1 DLC Will Only Cover The First 8 Episodes

Kakarot's Daima Part 1 DLC Will Only Cover The First 8 Episodes

Summary

  • Last year, Bandai Namco confirmed that Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot would be getting several expansions based on Daima.
  • According to a V-Jump leak, the first DLC will seemingly only cover the first eight episodes of the show.
  • This means we’ll have to wait until Part 2 for Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta.

A reliable Dragon Ball insider has reported that the latest issue of V-Jump confirms that Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot‘s first Daima expansion will cover the first eight episodes of the anime.

Although most Dragon Ball fans have their sights squarely set on Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero and its recently revealed Super: Super Hero expansion, there’s a lot going on with other DB games as well. Not only does Xenoverse 2 somehow continue to keep getting DLC after nine years, but Kakarot also isn’t ending any time soon.

Even if you’ve played the original Budokai Tenkaichi games, you aren’t prepared for how tough Sparking Zero’s story mode is.

Back in 2023, Bandai Namco confirmed that every Dragon Ball game under the sun would be getting some kind of DLC or update to do with the latest series, Dragon Ball Daima. Kakarot’s is arguably the most interesting of the bunch, as its single-player focus means that we’ll be getting to explore Daima’s world more closely with the Adventure Through The Demon Realm Part 1 expansion.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot’s Daima DLC Will Cover The First Eight Episodes

Beyond that initial announcement trailer confirming the DLC, we haven’t heard all that much regarding Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot’s Daima DLC, beyond Bandai confirming that it would release in 2025. It seems that might be about to change with the next issue of V-Jump, however, as a reliable insider has claimed that the expansion makes an appearance.

Over on Twitter, DbsHype reported that the latest issue of V-Jump features the Adventures Through The Demon Realm Part 1 DLC for Kakarot and reveals that it will cover the first eight episodes of the anime. The spread also includes new screenshots from the DLC, which will likely make the rounds when the issue officially releases.

For those wondering, if true this means that the DLC will cover up to Goku’s fight against Tamagami Number Three, which is where he goes Super Saiyan in his mini form for the first time. It sadly means that we’ll have to wait on the expansion’s second part to see Vegeta finally obtain his Super Saiyan 3 form, as that happened all the way in episode 12.
