One of the most well-known mechanics in survival games is farming. While some players enjoy engaging with it, others may not be as fond. In Palworld, farming is an essential mechanic. Instead of venturing into the wild every time you need food, farming allows you to produce your own meals.
Thankfully, you don’t have to handle farming yourself. Your hardworking Pals at the base will tirelessly manage the farming for you. However, to build plantations that enable farming, you’ll need seeds. Are you curious about where to find one of these, such as Potato Seeds?
How To Get Potato Seeds
In Palworld, you’ll need farms to produce your own crops and cook meals. However, without seeds, you cannot build the plantations needed to grow vegetables. One such plantation is the Potato Plantation, and you’ll need three potato seeds to unlock its blueprint. Additionally, you must be level 29 to build the Potato Plantation.

Huge Verdant EggThe most reliable place to find Potato Seeds is Moonless Shore. Here, you can also encounter both Robinquill and Flopie. It’s a good idea to teleport to the Mount Flopie Summit fast travel point and head south to hunt these two Pals. Additionally, Robinquill and Flopie also drop Wheat Seeds, which can be used to build a Wheat Plantation.
Keep in mind that instead of killing Pals with a chance to drop potato seeds, it’s better to capture them. If you capture them and then butcher them using a 
Meat Cleaver
or Pal Assembly Conveyor, the likelihood of obtaining potato seeds increases.
Additionally, assigning Prunelia to your base can help you harvest more potatoes thanks to her partner skill, Prayer for Abundant Harvest. She ensures higher efficiency when farming potatoes, making her an invaluable asset for your plantation.
You can also construct a Pal Labor Research Laboratory to further enhance potato growth speed through specific research projects. Among these, the Planting and Watering research subjects will be particularly useful in maximizing efficiency and ensuring consistent yields.
Once you’ve built a Potato Plantation using the seeds you’ve gathered, nothing will stop you from producing an endless supply of potatoes. While potatoes alone aren’t highly satiating, they serve as a key ingredient for crafting more nourishing meals. The best way to use them is in certain recipes, providing greater benefits for your adventures.
