Summary
- Shiketsu, Seiai, and Isamu Academy students rival Class 1-A at UA in power and intellect.
- Romero’s Zombie Virus, Saiko’s IQ, Mora’s Extend-o-Hair, Tatami’s Telescopic Quirk stand out.
- Shindo, Yoarashi, and Camie also show impressive abilities and play significant roles in My Hero Academia.
Although UA High is considered the best hero school in My Hero Academia, there are other hero schools in existence that could give UA a run for its money when it comes to the quality of their students. Throughout the show, our beloved protagonists in Class 1-A encounter students from other hero schools, competing with one another to see who’s the best.

8 Most Underrated Villains In My Hero Academia
With so many spectacular villains, these ones didn’t get enough of the spotlight.
From Shiketsu to Seiai Academy, these students are powerhouses in their own right, who have gone toe-to-toe with the best of Class 1-A. As such, we thought it fitting to shine the spotlight on the best students who chose not to go to UA.

Fujimi Romero
Isamu Academy High School
A heroics student from Isamu Academy, Fujimi Romero clearly didn’t seem too keen on being buddy-buddy with Class 1-A when his class went on a visitation program to UA. He even butted heads with resident class firebrand Bakugo Katsuki after he spoke none-too-politely about the class.
Romero’s Zombie Virus Quirk is exactly how it sounds, as he releases a gas that instantly turns his opponents into zombies. They act just like zombies too, infecting others by biting them and using their Quirks mindlessly. Romero turned most of Class 1-A and his classmates into zombies, but fell victim to his own Quirk after a zombified Bakugo bit him.

Saiko Intelli
Seiai Academy
First encountered during the Hero License Exam, Saiko Intelli is a student from Seiai Academy. She has an IQ Quirk, which boosts her intellect to stratospheric levels temporarily just by drinking tea.
She becomes the ringleader for her fellow hero classmates during the first round of the Hero License Exam, using her Quirk to come up with a plan to defeat Momo, Tsuyu, Jiro and Shoji. Although her plan was very nearly successful, she was outsmarted by Momo, who used her Creation Quirk to immobilise Saiko’s classmates and overpower Saiko.

Mora Nagamasa
Shiketsu High School
Quirk |
Extend-o-Hair |
---|---|
Hero Name |
Chewyee |
A student of Shiketsu High, Mora Nagamasa has a striking appearance, covered head-to-toe in light brown hair. His Extend-o-Hair Quirk allows him to control all the hair on his body and elongate it to serve as body armour or to capture multiple opponents all at once.
Mora serves as the class representative for his class, and it’s no wonder the school chose him as he is a very dignified and mature individual. Alongside his classmates, Mora joined in on the action during the Final War, helping restrain the tide of Twice’s Quirk and Himiko Toga’s chaotic outburst.

Tatami Nakagame
Ketsubutsu Academy
Quirk |
Telescopic |
---|---|
Hero Name |
Turtle Neck |
Tatami Nakagame is a student from Ketsubutsu Academy and can be seen in the company of her classmate, Shindo Yo. She joins her classmates in targeting UA during the Hero License Exam, using her Telescopic Quirk – which allows her to retract her limbs – to dodge attacks from other students.

My Hero Academia’s movies are fantastic, but which is the best?
During the Final War, she goes with Shindo to try and persuade civilians to take refuge in safe zones instead of going at it alone. Tatami also helped secure the Villain Skeptic alongside her classmates after La Brava discovered the villain’s location.
4
Seiji Shishikura
Shiketsu High School
Quirk |
Meatball |
---|---|
Hero Name |
Shishikross |
A Shiketsu student with one of the weirdest Quirks in the show, Seiji Shishikura’s Meatball Quirk allows him to control human flesh and mold it to whatever shape he desires. During the Hero License Exam, he uses his Quirk to turn multiple students into balls of flesh, but fails the exam after being defeated by Kaminari Denki.
Seiji’s father works as a guard in Tartarus, and after he was killed during All For One’s attack on Tartarus, Seiji swore revenge against All For One. With his Shiketsu classmates, Seiji helps save Hawks from All For One’s murderous clutches.
3
Camie Utsushimi
Shiketsu High School
Quirk |
Glamour |
---|---|
Hero Name |
Illus-o-Camie |
Although we were first introduced to Camie Utsushimi during the Hero License Exams, it turns out that it wasn’t actually Camie. After Himiko Toga’s deception was discovered, Camie had to go through the Remedial Exams due to her non-attendance.
Flighty, airheaded and extremely blunt, Camie is a very carefree person with a soft spot for children. She was able to handle the children in the Remedial Exams by showing off her Glamour Quirk. Later, during the Final War, she uses her Quirk to create an illusion of Hawks to save him from All For One’s killing blow.
2
Shindo Yo
Ketsubutsu Academy
Quirk |
Vibrate |
---|---|
Hero Name |
Grand |
Confident and cunning, Shindo Yo is a heroics student that appears friendly and sociable at first, but that’s only to throw others off. He was the de facto leader for his classmates during the Hero License Exam, spearheading the scheme to target Class 1-A and eliminate them by overwhelming them in numbers.
Despite his sly demeanour, Shindo has genuine concern for the lives of others. He intervened during the second round of the exams against Gang Orca and his sidekicks, and went out to save civilians and bring them to safe zones during the Final War. He was courageous enough to go up against the notoriously deadly Villain Muscular to protect the civilians, even at the cost of his own life.
1
Yoarashi Inasa
Shiketsu High School
Quirk |
Whirlwind |
---|---|
Hero Name |
Gale Force |
Considered a powerhouse due to his powerful Whirlwind Quirk, Yoarashi Inasa was originally not meant to be a Shiketsu student. He took part in the UA Recommendation Entrance Exam and actually won the top spot, only to back out due to an icy (no pun intended) exchange with Todoroki Shouto.
Loud and energetic, Inasa developed an initial hatred of Endeavour and Shouto, but changed his opinion of them after doing his Remedial Exam. Along with his classmates, Inasa attempted to stop and restrain Toga’s Sad Man’s Parade and All For One during the height of the Final War.
