Trainwreck Says He’s the Highest-Paid Streamer

Trainwreck Responds to Kai Cenat’s Remarks on Massive Kick Deal Offer

Summary

  • Trainwreck claims to be the highest-paid streamer globally, emphasizing his high viewer count and chat activity.
  • Top streamers, like xQc and Amouranth, secure lucrative Kick deals, but exact earnings remain undisclosed.
  • Trainwreck, known for gambling content, vows to address viewbotting in the industry and has criticized Kick’s approach.

Former Twitch and current Kick streamer Trainwreck recently claimed that he is the highest-paid streamer in the world, stating he’s “by a long shot” ahead of his competition. This big statement came after he got into an argument with a viewer, who accused the ex-Twitch personality of viewbotting.

It is pretty obvious that top streamers are making a lot of money these days. In 2023, popular streamer xQc signed a massive $100 million deal with Kick.com, a story that generated a lot of attention in the streaming community. The deal even attracted NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal who jokingly considered starting his streaming career and congratulated xQc. However, streamers are mostly inclined to keep mum when it comes to the issue of the money they make. For instance, in 2023, the female streamer Amouranth also partnered with Kick, but she did not disclose the exact figure she earned in the deal.

Valkyrae makes a successful return to Twitch, quickly reclaiming her position as the platform’s top female streamer after just one week back.

While responding to a viewer who accused him of viewbotting in a recent stream, Kick endorser Trainwreck said that he makes more money than any other streamer in the world. But he did not reveal any details of exactly how much he is earning. He questioned why any streamer with significantly fewer viewers, who he believes uses Viewbotting, would be making more money than him. Trainwreck said that his viewer count is just being natural and pointed out that his chat is more active than that of other streamers, and moves much quicker.

Trainwreck also mentioned his tweet about Kick, in response to which the platform gained one million new sign-ups in one day, something he doesn’t think other large streamers could achieve in a year. Trainwreck also said he’s working to solve the viewbotting problem and make the streaming industry better, while others ignore it. It is important to note that previously, Trainwreck claimed that 90 out of 100 of the most popular streamers on Twitch were actively using viewbotting.

While Trainwreck’s claim to be the highest-grossing streamer can’t be ascertained, he may be one of them, especially considering his focus on gambling content. Notably, he also previously claimed to have made $360 million dollars gambling on Twitch. As for viewbotting, Trainwreck has often spoken out against it, even voicing his disapproval of Kick’s handling of viewbotting gambling streams and claiming that he’s working on the issue, despite the criticism that comes with doing so.
