How to obtain Shadow Milk Cookie in Cookie Run: Kingdom

Shadow Milk Cookie is a Beast Cookie and hence can be obtained through the Gacha. Legendary and the Cookies above the Rarity get their own Limited Rate up Banner when they are initially released.

The players need to obtain exclusive wish currency to pull for him. As of now, all Beast Cookies and their Soulstones can only be obtained through Gacha-exclusive Events.

For I am the shadow living in your soul—a lie!” What could have happened to this Cookie, once heralded as the Fount of Knowledge, that made him become the Master of Deceit. Eons ago, when Earthbread was still young, the radiance of Knowledge was born to bless all that was with meaning. Yet, in the shadow cast by this light, dwelled its twin, Deceit.

With time, all those disenchanted with the bitter Truth turned their eyes to the alluring tapestry of lies spun by the silver-tongued trickster. Masterfully juggling truths and falsehoods on the scene of a whimsical shadowplay, Shadow Milk Cookie has perfected his craft of shattering beliefs of the most stoic in a myriad of treacherous reflections. Act 1: Lies

Shadow Milk Cookie channels the energy of his other-realm to begin a grand spectacle of Deceit. Inflicts Puppet Show at the enemy with the lowest Max HP (targets Cookies first excluding Safeguarded Cookies). The opponent’s Shadow Milk Cookie cannot become a target unless no other possible targets are left. For the duration of Puppet Show, both the target and the nearby enemies sustain periodic damage. The effect ends with a Grand Finale. Grand Finale deals damage to all enemies, deals damage proportional to Puppet Show’s target, and applies Taint on them. If the target is defeated before the end of Puppet Show’s duration, a Soul Phantom will appear in their place. A portion of the damage sustained by the Soul Phantom until the end of Puppet Show will be inflicted as Grand Finale’s extra damage. If Shadow Milk Cookie is defeated, he will assume his Shadow Form. He will summon his Puppets to fool the enemies and retreat to the other-realm where he will gain Power of Deceit. The Shadow Form effect will last until the Puppets are defeated. At the beginning of the battle, Shadow Milk Cookie will summon the Eye of Truth. Depending on the number of debuffs received by the team, including Shadow Milk Cookie himself, the Eye of Truth will gain stacks of Truth. More stacks of Truth will be gained whenever Shadow Milk Cookie uses his skill. At a certain number of stacks, the Eye of Truth will remove all debuffs from the team and increase the amount of damage dealt by Shadow Milk Cookie at the expense of a greater amount of damage received. When Shadow Milk Cookie gains Power of Deceit, the Eye of Truth will transform into the Eye of Deceit, periodically gaining new stacks of Truth. At a certain number of stacks, it will emit a Tenet of Deceit, dealing damage and resetting the duration of Taint on the target (damage proportional to Max HP is capped at 300,000) (Cooldown: 11s)

The target is affected by Puppet Show, a debuff that damages them and nearby enemies over time. While Puppet Show is active, both the target and surrounding enemies take periodic damage. The effect ends with the Grand Finale, which deals massive area damage, scales damage based on the target’s max HP, and applies Taint, a debuff that lowers the target’s damage and makes them more vulnerable to other debuffs.

If the Puppet Show’s target is defeated early, Shadow Milk Cookie summons a Soul Phantom in their place. The damage the phantom takes is converted into extra damage for the Grand Finale, creating a chain reaction that puts even more pressure on the enemy team. Shadow Milk Cookie also has a strong survival ability.

If he’s defeated, he enters Shadow Form, becoming immortal and immune to damage for a short time. In this form, he summons puppets to taunt enemies while retreating to another realm. There, he gains the Power of Deceit, which boosts both his survivability and damage. This lets him stay effective even after being taken down. At the start of the fight, Shadow Milk Cookie summons the Eye of Truth, a key part of his strategy.

The Eye gains stacks of Truth whenever Shadow Milk Cookie uses his skill or when his team is affected by debuffs. Once enough stacks are collected, the Eye of Truth clears all debuffs from the team, increases Shadow Milk Cookie’s damage, and gives the team a shield.

If Shadow Milk Cookie activates his Power of Deceit, the Eye of Truth transforms into the Eye of Deceit, which builds stacks faster. When fully charged, it releases a powerful Tenet of Deceit, dealing big damage and resetting the Taint duration on enemies.

Shadow Milk Cookie’s abilities are strengthened by the buffs and debuffs he uses. While casting Puppet Show, he gets extra damage resistance and an HP shield. His Grand Finale can ignore part of the enemy’s defenses, making it effective even against tough opponents. The Taint effect, along with his debuff mechanics, makes him great at disrupting enemy plans, especially against teams that rely on their debuffs.
