How To Make Money Fast In My Summer Car

How To Make Money Fast In My Summer Car

If you want to get the coolest car parts in My Summer Car, you’re going to need to earn quite a lot of cash. Building a car is expensive, after all. Since your character is not gainfully employed, this is a lot easier said than done. Luckily, there are plenty of side jobs you can take advantage of, ranging from brewing Kilju to delivering firewood.

In My Summer Car, you typically aren’t going to do a single side job. Instead, you’ll make the most by taking advantage of several. There’s even a suitcase full of money for you to potentially steal. Here are the top ways to make money.

Steal Jouko’s Suitcase

Player opening suitcase of money in My Summer Car.

If you’re looking to never worry about money again, stealing Jouko’s suitcase is the ultimate heist, though it does take a lot of patience! After you give Jouko five rides home, he’ll reveal that he’s a millionaire. At this point, you can find and steal his millions.

The cash can only be taken out at 100 mk per click, so patience is key!

Head to the northeastern part of the map to find his suitcase. The amount of money it contains is randomized, but it’s typically between 1,500,000 to 2,000,000. Don’t get too comfortable, though. The next time you sleep at home, Jouko will show up at your doorway with an axe.

Delivering Firewood

One of the more legitimate ways to make money is to cut and deliver firewood. This isn’t quite as thrilling as stealing Jouko’s suitcase, but it is a steady way to make income throughout the game and there are fewer murder threats.

10 Best Routes In Euro Truck Simulator 2

These routes will provide Euro Truck Sim 2 drivers with a range of driving experiences and beautiful scenery.

The process is rather simple. Start by using an axe and log splitter to chop logs into firewood. Then, stack the firewood into the trailer using the tractor. Customers who need firewood will be marked on the map. Deliver it to them for a quick (if rather boring) buck.

Brewing And Selling Kilju

Player opening trunk full of bottles in My Summer Car.

It may not be as conventional as chopping logs, but Kilju is exceptionally lucrative. This sugar wine takes some planning and waiting, but it pays handsomely once you have a system going.

Make sure you ferment the brew long enough. Selling unfermented kilju can also anger Jokke.

Buy yeast and sugar from Teimo’s store. You’ll need six bags of sugar and one packet of yeast for a full batch. At home, fill the brewing bucket with water and mix in the sugar and yeast. Put the lid on the bucket. Leave the bucket alone in a warm spot for four to six in-game days. Then, you can sell it to customers.

Towing Wrecked Cars

Player looking at Fleetarin's shop in My Summer Car.

Another easy way to make a quick buck is to tow wrecked cars from around the map and deliver them to Fleetari’s repair shop. You can find these vehicles along dirt roads or near accidents. You do need a vehicle equipped with towing abilities to transport the wrecks.

This job is extremely simple, but towing cars can be a bit treacherous. Plan your route carefully to avoid sharp turns or excessive speeds. Make sure to keep your truck well-maintained, too. Breaking down while towing a car is never fun!

5

Sewage Pumping Jobs

Player pumping sewage in My Summer Car.

One reliable way to make money is pumping sewage with the Gifu truck. To find these jobs, you’ll need to check your home’s answering machine for messages from locals requesting septic tank pumping services. Then, ensure the Gifu sewage truck is fueled and in working condition.

Drive carefully, especially on the bumpy dirt roads. The sewage truck isn’t the most durable vehicle!

When you get to the location, park the truck close to the septic tank. Attach the hose to the tank and start the pumping process. Keep a very close eye on the tank levels to prevent overfilling. Payments range from 1,200 to 2,000 mk, depending on the job.

4

Winning The Lottery

You can also win the lottery but there is a lot of luck involved! You can buy lottery tickets at Teimo’s Shop. Each ticket costs 50 mk. After purchasing a ticket, keep it safe and pay attention to the lottery draw announcements. These are communicated through the radio or TV in the game. Winnings range from a few thousand to an enormous sum.

Driving Grandma To Church

Player driving grandma to work in My Summer Car.

One unique and wholesome way to earn money is by taking Sirkka to church. This task is a bit of a routine errand, but it also develops the game’s story. On Sundays at 6:00 AM, Sirkka will call you asking for a ride to church. It’s a fixed time and doesn’t depend on your actions, so be sure to be awake and ready to go.

Sirkka will wait for you at her house. She can only get into lower-slung cars, like the Satsuma. The church is only a short distance from the house, but you will have to take her home when she is done with the service, which takes three to four in-game hours. You can drive around and do other things. Just be sure you go back to pick her up!

2

Picking Strawberries

Player picking strawberries in My Summer Car.

Picking strawberries is a relatively simple, low-paying job. It won’t earn you a lot, but it is a good option when you need a few extra dollars. The strawberry field in Rykipohja, near the landfill, is open daily from 06:00 to 20:00. You can collect strawberries using the free berry boxes provided at the field. Each full box earns 40 mk, so you can potentially earn 2,800 mk if you clear the whole field.

This is one of the few jobs with a skill associated with it. As you pick more strawberries, your skill will increase, and you’ll become more efficient. This job can get very monotonous, but it is an easy way to earn cash that doesn’t involve driving all over the map.

1

Bringing Food To Grandma

Player sitting with grandma in My Summer Car.

Delivering food to Grandma can potentially earn you up to 1,000 mk (or 1,500 mk, if you have driven her to church). Grandma will call your house and ask for groceries like sausages, sugar, and milk or fish. After you purchase these items, you can deliver them to her house by placing them on the blue plastic holder on her table.

After delivering the food, sit and listen to her stories for up to 12 minutes. Press K to respond to her ramblings and increase the payout. How often you can do this job is completely random, so be on the lookout for calls from grandma at home.
