Building up the workshop as a Drifter in SynDuality: Echo of Ada is a lot of costly work. Gathering materials can feel like digging for a needle in a haystack, but there are many shortcuts to finding rare or unusual materials in the game. Here’s how to find resources using the in-game menus as well as some tips on finding some rarer materials.

All sorts of resources can be found while on expeditions, and they can be used for different purposes. Crafting recipes in the Crafting Station use all resources found in the open world as well as items dropped by Enders and Cradles. Rewards from completing Requests can also yield some materials that are rarer than dropped materials, depending on the difficulty of the Request in progress.

How to Find Resources while on an Expedition in SynDuality: Echo of Ada

Synduality - Wishlist Tag

The first way is utilizing the Wishlist feature in the Remodel tab in the garage. When you go to the Remodel tab to upgrade various rooms in the Garage, you will notice that each upgrade or start of building a new room requires resources to build up. To register items to the Wishlist, press the key displayed in the lower right corner of the screen, and all components as part of the list to build the room will be registered on the Wishlist. While out on an Expedition, the Magus will tag any nearby items on the HUD with a pink icon and display where they are. Players can also open the Map window during an Expedition and use the arrow keys to navigate to the specific items on the Wishlist that they wish to find. Highlighting the item will put up yellow blobs on the map they have previously explored where those items are commonly found, but they will not always be present upon arrival. Sometimes items can spawn at random if an area is entered and then left.

The other major source of construction resources is just doing quests via the Requests tab in the garage. Completing major quests rewards the player with plenty of money and resources to complete many early construction projects in the Remodel section early on. These quests can vary depending on which organization is requesting it, but objectives will usually be simple tasks like visiting a specific location or slaying a certain number of Enders or Cradles using a specific weapon. For more varied tasks, players may want to look at ways to change factions in SynDuality: Echo of Ada.

Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon Fans Should Keep An Eye On This Upcoming Game

Many mecha fans are no doubt tuned into Armored Core 6: Fire of Rubicon’s upcoming release, but there’s another worth watching out for too.

Some other ways resources can be found more at random are in chests scattered throughout the world, which can be marked as containing Wishlisted items by the Magus. Enemy Cradles, both Bandits and players, will also drop anything they are carrying depending on the level of the Cradle or just by pure chance. Enders may also randomly drop materials required in certain recipes such as Chaser Fangs or Crawler Cores. Ender Cores have the best chance to drop if players aim directly for the Ender’s yellow weak spot and score Critical Hits as much as possible. Drawing out combat may degrade any materials dropped by an Ender. Mainly, the best ways to find resources is just to interact with the world and find anything you can possibly carry back and complete objectives as well as downing enemies.
