Fields of Mistria developer NPC Studio posted an update on the game’s content roadmap and detailed some features arriving in a major update slated for March 2025. The features coming to Fields of Mistria in March include a new villager, a gift hint mechanic, additional dialogue options, and a new area to explore.
As one of 2024’s breakout indie games, Fields of Mistria takes inspiration from 90s anime and cozy life sims such as Harvest Moon and Stardew Valley. Set in the titular village of Mistria, players can turn an overgrown homestead into one of several different farms as they help restore the town following a devastating earthquake and strange magical events that followed in its wake. Although Fields of Mistria will remain in early access for at least a year, the game currently holds an overwhelmingly positive 97% rating on Steam due to its plethora of charming characters and customization options incorporated via player feedback.
