Diablo 4 has announced a big change to the Paragon system, revealing all experience gained by players during a season will carry over to the Eternal Realm once it ends. Blizzard recently held a Campfire Chat to talk about the seventh season of Diablo 4, giving a sneak peek at what players can expect from it.

When a player reaches the Diablo 4 endgame, one of the features they can explore is the Paragon system. This allows them to customize their build beyond level 50 with the help of Paragon Boards, unlocking extra effects such as damage over time, additional armor, and strength. This system guarantees high replayability for Diablo 4, allowing players to experiment and make their characters stronger. But it will soon receive an important change, significantly impacting gameplay.

One Diablo 4 Achievement May Be Impossible to Unlock

One of Diablo 4’s achievements requires players to perform a feat so unimaginable, it’s hard to believe that anyone will ever be able to acquire it.

From Diablo 4 Season 7, all paragon experience gained will be transferred to the Eternal Realm when a season ends. Since paragon experience now applies to the entire account, all experience earned by a player’s character will be added to the Eternal Realm when a season comes to an end. With this, Diablo 4 is addressing previous feedback from the community and making it more possible to reach Paragon level 300. After all, this achievement requires a grind of many hours, and players who do it get the Piebald Panther mount and its trophy as rewards.

Diablo 4 Makes Another Change to the Paragon System

This isn’t the only Paragon-related adjustment announced with the unveiling of the seventh season of Blizzard’s action RPG. From now on, players who switch between slots with different Paragon loadouts will not spend gold. Previously, a change much praised by the Diablo 4 community was the separation between character levels and Paragon Points. With this, players who reach the level cap with a character will start earning levels that can be used in Nodes for characters in the same Realm. The number of points obtainable has also been increased from 200 to 300.

The seventh season of Diablo 4 kicks off on January 21, and another important addition is witchcraft powers, a mechanic similar to the vampiric powers in Season 2. With this new seasonal gimmick, players will be able to equip six witchcraft powers out of a total of 25, giving their characters new effects. Another noteworthy feature is the debut of Armor, addressing a long-standing request from Diablo 4 players by allowing them to save favorite loadouts and switch between them on the fly.
