Ceruledge’s time in the Pokemon TCG has been brief in comparison to some of the most valuable vintage products from the past, but it has had a strong start thus far. Despite lacking a storied history that dates back to vintage eras, this Pokemon has all the makings of a superstar in the Pokemon TCG, with a fierce design and gorgeous art that sets it apart from its peers.

Since we can’t look too deeply into the past in search of patterns and trends for this Pokemon, our focus will be on analyzing its present state in the Pokemon market and examining its prospects for the future. Though nothing is certain, Ceruledge couldn’t have picked a better time to find popularity, as it enters one of the most bullish Pokemon markets ever.
Cards are ordered according to their TCGPlayer Market Price, which is the average price you might pay for a copy of the cards below.
Just A Humble Promo
Ceruledge’s best cards offer a wide range of values, starting with this Cosmos Holo that you might recognize as having the exact same art as its Rare-tier counterpart from Paldean Fates.
Cards like this Ceruledge can be featured multiple times within the same product, as is the case here. This card was given a unique Cosmos Holo pattern – originally a hallmark of vintage sets from the early days of Pokemon – and used as a promo card for select Paldean Fates products, like three-pack blisters.
While cars like these sometimes find desirability as niche collector’s items, it’s unlikely we’ll see this Ceruledge surge to the same heights that its other most valuable cards have already reached.
A Day To Celebrate For Ceruledge
Speaking of valuable niche promos, did you know that there was a stamped promo of Ceruledge, celebrating Pokemon Day 2024? Don’t worry, there’s no punishment if you answer “no” (and no reward if you answer “yes”) as this card is far from the most captivating Ceruledge on this list.
Given that this card is such a recent release by Pokemon card standards, it’s easy to come across near-mint (NM) copies on TCGplayer. However, their prices vary depending on the seller, but luckily you shouldn’t have to spend much more than a couple of dollars on even the cleanest copies of this Ceruledge.

Ceruledge ex: Surging Sparks (Double Rare) – $3.07
Too Much Going On
“Busy” doesn’t even begin to describe this Ceruledge art, or many of the other ex-tier Double Rares from modern sets like Surging Sparks, but this Ceruledge offers a warning of what can go wrong when depicting Tera Crowns on TCG cards. While explosions of color can visually elevate cards, this version misses the mark and tries to do too much.

Unfortunately, the price chart is pretty bleak so far for Ceruledge ex, as this card began its career priced around the ten-dollar plateau, but has expectedly dropped. While time sometimes offers the chance for cards to rebound after the initial dip, ex-cards are extremely common and don’t offer much in terms of appreciation in the long term.
2
Ceruledge: Paldean Fates (Shiny Rare) – $6.14
Shinies Are Forever
The Shiny Rare Ceruledge from Paldean Fates is a far more valuable card than the regular Rare from the same set, offering a beautiful “baby shiny” to appreciate. Unlike the other most valuable Ceruledge cards we’ve seen thus far, this card has plenty of sales to analyze over a longer period, and it seems to finally be settling into its range.
While it hasn’t quite gotten back to its prerelease price, which was around nine dollars, shiny Ceruledge fell to about three dollars before it began the resurgence that carried it to its current market price. Peaks and valleys are typical for cards like this, though it remains on a fairly steady upward trend that eclipses a relatively slow start.

Ceruledge: Surging Sparks (Illustration Rare) – $44.75
There’s No Comparison
It’s finally time to move on to the main event, as this gorgeous Illustration Rare is one of the most expensive cards you’ll find in Surging Sparks, which closed out 2024 as one of the most valuable sets of the year. One look at this card will explain everything you need to know about why it commands such a significantly higher price than its predecessors, as this Illustration Rare depicts a stunning interpretation of the Pokemon with a beautiful background.
While its price chart will become more meaningful over time, there’s no denying that this card’s huge spike after release is deserved, considering the quality of the card. Its current market price is immensely impressive, but where it goes from here is anyone’s guess. Just don’t expect it to outperform the other top cards in Surging Sparks.
