While the recent unveiling of the Nintendo Switch 2 answered many questions gamers had about the new console, a few things are still a mystery. While viewers were able to catch a glimpse at a new Mario Kart title being developed for the Switch 2, the full launch lineup is still unknown as of this writing. Nintendo Aims To Sell Over 20 Million Nintendo Switch 2 Units in 2025

The issue of product availability has become a sensitive topic for gamers in this latest console generation, as the COVID-19 pandemic caused supply shortages when the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X launched in 2020. Nintendo has stated in the past that it was looking to avoid these complications with the Nintendo Switch 2 by producing more units in time for its launch, seemingly unhindered by the chipset shortages that plagued the start of the current line of consoles.

Given the hype surrounding the Nintendo Switch 2, the company behind it expects to sell a lot of units during the console’s initial wave. Of course, the cost of the Nintendo Switch 2 will most likely play a major factor in how quickly it sells, with recent rumors suggesting that it could be priced at $449.99 for the standalone unit with a $499.99 bundle that could include the new Mario Kart game that was also shown off with the Nintendo Switch 2 this week.
