Summary
- Pokemon cards are returning to McDonald’s in the US from January 21 to February 24.
- 15 cards will be available, including seven holos.
- The card packs will be available in Happy Meals, with 4 cards per pack.
McDonald’s will soon be giving away Pokemon cards in its Happy Meals yet again. For years now, McDonald’s has had a close relationship with the Pokemon franchise. This has often been through special promotions where McDonald’s customers are able to get a free pack of Pokemon cards with their Happy Meals, but it has manifested in other ways as well.
For example, Pokemon GO has announced its own partnership with McDonald’s. As part of this partnership, Pokemon GO players can spin sponsored PokeStops and gyms while visiting McDonald’s locations. They also have the chance to participate in special five-star Raid Battles at McDonald’s on specific dates, with the next event running from January 20 to January 26.

As detailed by PokeBeach, this latest McDonald’s Pokemon card event will run in the US from January 21 to February 24, having previously been available in other countries. This time around, Pokemon fans can get Happy Meal boxes themed after Charizard, Dragonite, Rayquaza, and Roaring Moon (a paradox form of Salamence). The Happy Meals come with 4-card booster packs, with a total of 15 cards available, including seven holos. As a bonus, the Happy Meals also come with a poster and stickers.
