In the last few years, One Piece’s popularity has increased so much that some of the biggest and most well-reputed brands have started collaborating with the series. In 2024, One Piece teamed up with Puma to release limited-edition sneakers inspired by the Four Emperors. As expected, they were sold out quickly, so Puma had to bring them back so that others could try to get one.
Now, it has been revealed that One Piece will collaborate with Sekkisei, a Japanese skincare brand. According to Sekkisei’s official website, the collaboration will yield three limited-edition sunscreens, each featuring a different One Piece character. They will be available from February 16, 2025.

One Piece x Sekkisei Release Date
Only three characters will be included in this collaboration. These are:
- Monkey D. Luffy
- Roronoa Zoro
- Chopper
Each character represents a different kind of sunscreen. The one with Luffy’s picture has a gel-like consistency. It is priced at 2,310 yen and weighs 90 g.
The sunscreen with Zoro’s face is described as essence milk, making it less sticky. The product weighs 60 g, and it is priced at 2,640 yen. Finally, the sunscreen with Chopper’s face is suitable for sensitive skin. The product has a capacity of 50 mL and is sold at a price of 2,310 yen. The official website Sekkisei reiterates that these products are limited edition, so they are unlikely to be restocked unless there is a massive demand for the product.
2025 Could Be A Big Year For One Piece
2025 is shaping up to be a big year for One Piece. It has already been confirmed that the anime will return in April 2025 with the next act of the Egghead Island arc. Toei Animation stopped releasing new episodes in 2024. The studio stated that it took a break to ensure the anime’s quality stayed the same. Toei Animation was releasing one insane episode after another, which is an extremely strenuous job for the animators. So the studio decided to take a break to avoid overworking animators.
There is a genuine possibility that Wit Studio will disclose details related to the One Piece remake. After being announced in 2023, the updates have been very limited. Naturally, the audience wants to know about the release date. So, hopefully, there will be some new information regarding the project in 2025.
