After countless leaks, Nintendo officially reveals the Switch 2, revealing the new look, teasing a new game, and confirming the console direct.
During a stream hosted for the announcement of the Nintendo Switch 2, Brazilian gaming insider Petro Henrique Lutti Lippe, known online as phBrazil, claimed that the console will be getting a strong line of third-party support from Microsoft. Translations of Lippe’s statement read “There’s more games from Microsoft for Switch 2, that I know of, than any other company.” He emphasized that there is a lot of Microsoft content heading for the system, encouraging gamers to look forward to seeing more. There’s a considerable amount of new speculation over what games may make the cut.
Strong Microsoft Presence Rumored for Switch 2
The Switch 2 is expected to be a much more powerful console than its predecessor, and with that power should come the ability to host many more third-party games than its predecessor. Microsoft worked to bring plenty of previously exclusive games to the original Nintendo Switch, with hits like Pentiment and Grounded making their way onto the platform, but Switch fans have voiced a desire to see even more third-party support, with some feeling like the ports need to catch up and match more current-gen multi-platform releases.

The newest title coming to the newer console makes sense. That being said, Doom Eternal made notable concessions to run well on the Switch, so the hardware improvement is likely long overdue. While there is some idea of what Microsoft games are coming to the Switch 2, rumors seem to suggest many more on the way.
