One of the greatest pastimes in Infinity Nikki is collecting the incredible variety of adorable and practical crafting materials that the game has to offer, from the fluffiest of furs to the most ornate of bugs and fabrics. All of it contributes toward Nikki’s pursuit of becoming the greatest stylist in Miraland, which of course, means collecting and crafting all of the best fashion. It’s a grind that much of the player community enjoys, regardless of how easy or difficult it can be to gather some of those materials.

One such item that you thankfully don’t have to look far for in Infinity Nikki is Gogglebugs. If you need to get your hands on some of these goggly critters, you’ll need to know exactly where to find them.

To find Celebcrow Feathers in Infinity Nikki you’ll need to keep an eye out for these dapper-looking birds, as they’re not always easy to spot.

How to Get Gogglebugs in Infinity Nikki

Gogglebugs are a special type of bug in Infinity Nikki that can be gathered from a very early point in the game, essentially as soon as you reach Florawish for the first time in Chapter 1 of the main story questline. However, while they can be found this soon in your adventures, Gogglebugs are also exclusive to Florawish, meaning you won’t find them anywhere else in Wishfield.

To find them, head down to Florawish’s waterfront areas by Silken Lake and look for groups of lilypads that you can hop on to, as seen above. Around some of those lilypads, you should see bugs gliding across the surface of the water, and these are Gogglebugs. Just like with other bugs in the game, to catch them you’ll need to equip your Afternoon Shine ability outfit (or any fashionable alternatives you have such as Forest’s Fluttering) from the ability wheel.

Once you’ve done so, wait for one of the Gogglebugs to swim by the lilypad you’re standing on and swing your net to catch it. You’ll also receive Bug-Catching Insight for your efforts. Be aware that while certain other bugs in the area such as Sockos and Chimecadas also provide Essence when caught, Gogglebugs do not. However, if you unlock the appropriate node on your Heart of Infinity Grid (found on the first Bug-Catching Insight branch), you can obtain bonus Bug-Catching Insight. This can prove especially useful when trying to unlock the rest of the Insight nodes on the grid.

Also, once you’ve caught at least one Gogglebug in Florawish, you can use your Map’s convenient tracking feature to pinpoint more locations for them. While in-game open up your Map and select the book icon in the bottom left corner of your screen. Click on the bug icon tab and look for the Gogglebug option (should be on the second row). Select it and your map will automatically find the next closest location for Gogglebugs, indicated by an orange circle.

If you catch at least 50 x Gogglebugs you can even upgrade your tracker to Precise Tracking, which will find all approximate locations of Gogglebugs on the entire map for you, as seen above. Either way, using your tracker to find any type of important crafting material in the wilds of Wishfield is highly recommended.

One other very useful alternative to collecting Gogglebugs in Infinity Nikki is to use your Dig, Pear-Pal feature. This allows you to passively “dig” up resources, up to four different ones at a time. You can gather up to 5 of any qualifying resource by exchanging a small amount of Bling, and the items will be made available to pick up after 24 hours. Having Dig, Pear-Pal running on a daily basis for any material you may need for outfit sketches is highly recommended as well, as it reduces the amount of time you’d otherwise have to spend running around gathering items yourself.

If it comes down to it, one other option is to purchase Gogglebugs via the ‘Resonance’ tab in the in-game store. Each one costs 4 x Tranquility Droplets, which you obtain from receiving duplicates of any outfit items that are 4-Star or lower from pulls or other means such as the Surprise-o-Matic machine in Florawish. Up to 30 x Gogglebugs are available to buy from there each month, so spend wisely.
