Progressing into new tiers in Satisfactory is, no pun intended, one of the more satisfying things to do. Progressing further and further into the tiers takes more and more work, but unlocking each gives you access to so many more tools and machines, allowing you to reconfigure everything you’re doing in a much more efficient way.

Satisfactory: Tier 6 Progression Guide
Here’s how to unlock every Tier 6 Milestone in Satisfactory, as well as some tips for progressing through this Tier.
Progressing into tier 7 requires getting through Phase 3 of the Space Elevator. From there, there isn’t ton more equipment or machines left to unlock; but what is left to unlock can be both super beneficial, and super fun to have access to.
Tier 7 Milestones
There are five different milestones in Tier 7, each with different purposes. Some of these milestones revolve around allowing you to manufacture entirely new materials, while a couple others are intended to make maneuvering either yourself, or your resources, more efficiently.
Bauxite Refinement

Bauxite refinement is going to enable you to create aluminum, which you’re going to need for various machinery and components in the future. Primarily, Aluminum is used for construction-style resources, like Aluminum Beams.
Bauxite itself is a resource node, and you’ll need to locate one in order to get started with all of this.
On top of refining Bauxite, you’ll get another scannable resource here: Raw Quartz. This is going to be refined into Silica, which is something else you’re going to need for your Aluminum production.
Alternately, you can obtain Silica as a byproduct when creating Alumina Solution, at a 5:12 Silica and 12 Alumina Solution ratio.
The production chain goes from Alumina Solution > Aluminum Scrap > Aluminum Ingot > Alclad Aluminum Sheet OR Aluminum Casing.
Producing Alumina Solution is going to require access to water, alongside Bauxite. This creates Silica, alongside the primary resource of Alumina Solution. From there, you’ll need to use the Alumina Solution to create Alumina Ingots, with the byproduct of creating water. (This is particularly helpful, considering water is a resource you’re going to need for the previous step.)
Lastly, you’ll be using the Aluminum Scrap and the Silica you gained from the first step to create Aluminum Ingots.
Hoverpack

One of the more fun acquisitions from Tier 7 is the Hoverpack. For those who have created a wealth of vertical machinery, getting where you need to get to tinker with things can be a significant problem.
The Hoverpack allows you to hover anywhere you need to be. It wirelessly draws power from nearby power sources, making it extremely convenient to use, provided you have the extra 100MW of power available.
You’ll need to be producing Aluminum before you’re able to obtain the Hoverpack, considering one of the resouces is Aluminum Sheets.
Logistics Mk. 5

As they’ve already been updated a few times up to this point, you’ll be accustomed to the conveyor upgrades. These upgrade how many resources are able to be transported per minute, and drastically increase how quickly production can happen.
Hazmat Suit

The Hazmat Suit is not going to be particularly useful right off the bat. But, once you’ve gotten through Tier 7 and are into Tier 8 and Nuclear Power, it’s going to be quite helpful indeed.
Once you are in a situation where you need to use the Hazmat Suit, you’ll need to make Iodine-Infused Filters, as well. These are used in combination with the Hazmat Suit to protect you from radiation, and without them, you aren’t going to receive any protection.
Control System Development

This is a bit of a plethora of unlocks, moreso even than the Bauxite Refinement. Unlocking Control System Development unlocks many different things, from a Project Part, an entirely new building, and new fuel sources.
What you’re going to need Sulfuric Acid for is for Uranium Cell production, making is important to get alongside the Hazmat Suit, alongside needing Sulfur for other endgame items. Batteries are going to be used to power vehicles, while Radio Control Units and Supercomputers are going to be resources needed to construct late-game items.
Tier 7 Tips And Goals
Before anything else in Tier 7, you’re going to want to create and optimize your Aluminum production. Without Aluminum, you aren’t going to be able to gain any of the other things from this tier.
Aluminum is a very important resource to get right, considering how many later-game recipes require vast amounts of it.
Past that, prioritizing the Hoverpack can only be beneficial. Ensuring you have the extra power available for this shoudn’t be too difficult at this stage of the game; just be sure you aren’t in the middle of using it as you drift outside of the power range, or else you’re going to find yourself careening towards the ground.
The rest of these Milestones can be pursued at your leisure. Some of them are going to be integral to future Tiers and Milestones, but don’t have particular relevance right away. The exception to this is the Mk. 5 Conveyor Belts/Lifts; these fall more into the same category as the Hoverpack. They’re extremely convenient, but in many situations, they aren’t absolutely integral until you’re absolutely maximizing production speed.
