One of the most exciting aspects of exploring Miraland in Infinity Nikki is undoubtedly discovering all of the creatures and critters found in each region of the game. Not only do they add to the game’s wonderful immersion, but they also contribute heavily to Nikki’s crafting endeavors, as the resources they provide are crucial for the game’s countless different outfit sketches. While some of those resources are easy enough to find, others may be trickier to spot.
One such critter in Infinity Nikki that falls into the latter category is the Mani Beetle. If you find yourself in need of some for your crafting endeavors, you’ll need to know exactly how to find them.

How to Get Mani Beetles in Infinity Nikki
Mani Beetles are a semi-rare insect in Infinity Nikki; they’re only found in one specific region of Wishfield – the Wishing Woods. This means that in order to be able to gather them, you first need to progress far enough into Infinity Nikki‘s main story questline until you reach at least Chapter 6. At that point, you will be introduced to the Wishing Woods, the homeworld of the Faewish Sprites, and once you’ve helped Timis clear the main path to the Wish Inspection Center, you’ll be free to explore the rest of the region.
While they’re exclusive to this region, Mani Beetles can be found in relative abundance all across the Wishing Woods. Rather than crawling through the grassy meadows or buzzing around in the air, however, these pink-colored beetles tend to hang out on big overturned tree trunks. They’re also usually found in pairs dueling each other with their spear-shaped horns, making it easier to gather more in fewer spots.

Infinity Nikki: How to Get Bowler Fluff
If you want to find the biggest and fluffiest dog to groom in Infinity Nikki, look no further than the humble Bowlers of Stoneville.
Like most bugs in the game, you’ll want to be cautious when approaching Mani Beetles, as they will flee if you get too close. To collect them, you’ll need to equip your Afternoon Shine ability outfit (or any fashionable variant you have in your wardrobe) from the ability wheel. Move in slowly and use your net to catch one or both Mani Beetles at once (if you’re lucky). Along with the bugs themselves, you’ll also receive Bug-Catching Insight for your efforts.
Even better, if you unlock the appropriate node on your Heart of Infinity Grid, you can also gather Mani Beetle Essence from each successful catch. This node, which allows you to gather Essence from any qualifying bugs in the Wishing Woods region, can be found on the north side of the grid.
Be aware that it requires a minimum of 18,000 Bug-Catching Insight to unlock, but it is well worth it to craft some of the game’s rarest outfit pieces.
Remember that you can and should use your daily Vital Energy at the Realm of Nourishment (available at any Warp Spire) to help boost your Insight stats much quicker if you find them lacking and need certain Essence materials.
How To Use The Tracker To Get Mani Beetles In Infinity Nikki
To help you pinpoint more Mani Beetles in the region, you can also use your Map’s nifty little tracking feature. To use the tracker, open up your Map and select the book icon in the bottom left corner of the screen. This will pull up the Collections menu, and from there, you can use the bug tab icon to look for the Mani Beetle option.
Once you have found it, click it, and the map will immediately identify the nearest location of Mani Beetles for you. Furthermore, if you gather at least 50x Mani Beetles, you can upgrade the tracker to ‘Precise Tracking,’ which allows you to see all approximate locations for the bug on the map.
How To Use Dig, Pear-Pal To Get Mani Beetles In Infinity Nikki
Another helpful method of gathering Mani Beetles that requires less footwork is by using the Dig, Pear-Pal feature, as seen above. This allows you to passively “dig” for almost any crafting material you’ve unlocked in the game, for just a small amount of Bling in exchange.
You can gather up to 5 of any material every 24 hours with Dig, Pear-Pal, and it’s something you should absolutely keep running daily to help build up your stocks of materials.
How To Buy Mani Beetles In Infinity Nikki
Finally, you can also use the in-game store to purchase Mani Beetles if you truly find yourself in need of them quickly. To do this, simply go to the ‘Resonance’ tab in the store. Here, Mani Beetles can be bought for 8x Tranquility Droplets each, which you obtain from duplicates of any pulled outfit pieces 4-Star and below.
This method isn’t necessarily the most recommended, as Tranquility Droplets should be spent wisely and preferably on hard-to-get items like Shiny Bubbles, Revelation/Resonite Crystals, and extra Blings.
