Dark and Darker Mobile has finally confirmed the global release now, with the extradition RPG set to grace your mobile screens in the first half of 2024. Before that, KRAFTON will gear up for a soft launch of Dark and Darker Mobile on February 5, 2025, in Canada.
Dark and Darker Mobile delivers an exciting mix of multiple genres
Announced first in August 2023 when KRAFTON got the exclusive global license, Dark and Darker Mobile delivers an exciting mix of RPG, battle royale, and dungeon crawling that’s sure to keep players hooked. Set in a grim medieval world, the game tasks players with exploring dungeons, battling fierce monsters, and defeating rival adventurers.
With six unique classes, each offering its own set of skills, you can join forces with friends to create powerful teams or even play solo modes. The game had multiple tests conducted over time, with a recent round of closed beta test concluded, which was from August 1st to August 11th, 2024 in select regions.
In the KRAFTON Q2 2024 earnings call, the company highlighted the success of the Global Beta Test. Unlike typical session-based games, the beta featured unique non-combat content, offering a fresh experience for us players. Additionally, KRAFTON mentioned improvements in both the combat experience and the user interface which was seen in the testing.
Dark and Darker Mobile will see a release between February to June 2025
As mentioned earlier, Dark and Darker Mobile is aiming for release this year. Dark and Darker Mobile global release scheduled for the first half could be released anytime between February and June 2025.
With the Canada soft launch in February, there’s no chance of a release prior to it. Just after the soft launch is also not ruled out, in the same month, but I feel the devs will see the feedback from the soft launch and make changes if necessary before worldwide release.
