Her entire gameplay is based on her ability to make a contract with her teammates. Every time you enter a battle, you will be asked to choose which teammate to make a contract with. This contract results in a stat boost for the ally AND Anjo Nala, lasting the entire fight until the contractor dies and a new contract is formed.
Unfortunately, she does scrap off some HP when casting her skill on the contractor, so you will need to manage that with a healer on the team. Her Ultimate DMG is what players need to keep an eye on because her gameplay becomes quite overpowered at that point. Her DMG already deals 500% Mental DMG (which is exceptionally high for most characters), and with every additional debuff added, her Ultimate gains an increased 60% DMG. Quite frankly, since this Psychube is great for breaking through enemy defenses, it’s the next best thing when it comes to a 6-star Psychube for her. If you want to put Anjo Nala in a negative effects team, the Blasphemer of Night is your best option for a 6-star Psychube. It basically boosts her damage against enemies with debuffs and allows her to take advantage by exploiting status effects.
The final choice would be the 5-star Psychube, Yearning Desire, and it works similar to the Blasphemer of Night. The Psychube boosts Anjo Nala’s damage by 16% when she’s around enemies affected by the debuff status or status reductions. If you want to maximize her potential in support and sub dps teams, this is a great choice as it goes perfectly with her ability to exploit enemy weaknesses.

If you’re building Anjo Nala as a Sub DPS, which is the position she excels at, make sure to slot her in teams where she can bring out her abilities. Despite this, she does pair pretty well with most characters due to her versatility, but there are some characters she can do exceptionally well fighting alongside.
Anjo Nala, Jiu Niangzi, 37, And Kakania
This team will be your standard follow-up attack team as having Jiu can greatly trigger this effect for Anjo Nala and 37. It’s also the best option against mass-target bosses, and with Kakania in the team, it provides Anjo Nala with the support she needs to effectively use her skills.
Anjo Nala, Mercuria, Argus, And Tooth Fairy
Quite frankly, Mercuria is a top tier support for Anjo Nala, and if you have her, it would work wonders for any battle you go into. With 6’s debuff strategies, Anjo Nala can bind or even work as a double DPS set with Lucy to deal excellent damage. It’s a very good team against single-target enemies. If players do not have characters like 6, they can switch to either Kakania or Mercuria. In this team, Tooth Fairy will mainly play her role as a healer, but you can also use her to debuff as well, depending on the strategy. However, if you don’t have Lucy, Lilya or J work just as well.
