After what feels like a millennium of leaks, rumors, and speculation surrounding Nintendo’s awaited successor to the Switch, we finally have confirmation from the House of Mario itself: the Switch 2 is coming in 2025, and more information will be shared in a Nintendo Direct on April 2.
So, while we don’t have anything regarding a release window, it’s safe to assume that Nintendo’s chunky handheld will launch sometime in late summer/early fall. However, we’re talking about Nintendo here, so anything could happen. But there is a way to play the system before it even comes out, thanks to the Switch 2 Experience.

How to Get Tickets
The Switch 2 Experience will take Nintendo all over the world, appearing in major cities to let fans get their hands on the upcoming console.
The experience will kick off on April 4 in New York City and Paris, France, and will last until sometime in the summer. Here are the confirmed dates and locations so far:

What Games Are Going to Be At the Switch 2 Experience
Mario Kart 9?
Nintendo has not confirmed which titles will be playable at the Switch 2 Experience events. However, since the untitled Mario Kart game shown during the reveal trailer was the only game we know about so far, it’s safe to say that it appears as a playable demo. However, there are bound to be more game reveals during the Switch 2 blowout Direct in April.
