Marvel Rivals‘ next Twitch drop will be an exclusive “Dancing Fortune” Nameplate, as confirmed by Marvel Rivals Intel on Twitter. The new Nameplate appears to be inspired by the Lunar New Year, which starts Wednesday, January 29, a holiday that has already served as the inspiration for several other customization offerings in Marvel Rivals for Squirrel Girl and Moon Knight. The new Nameplate will become available starting on January 18 to anyone who watches 30 minutes of the game on Twitch. The promotion will last through 2 p.m. PST on January 19, giving players a rather short window to grab the item.
New Twitch-Exclusive Nameplate Revealed for Marvel Rivals
Nameplates are one of the many ways players can customize their Marvel Rivals experience, with the game also having a large selection of skins. Most of these skins can be acquired either in Marvel Rivals’ battle pass or in the game’s store. However, certain skins like Marvel Rivals‘ exclusive Moon Knight skin from Season 0 can be acquired simply by completing certain tasks and objectives or watching a set amount of drop-enabled Twitch streams.
As stated earlier, Marvel Rivals recently entered its new Season 1 cycle, an update that added quite a lot of new features to the free-to-play third-person hero shooter. Players can now try their hand at Doom Match, Marvel Rivals’ version of a free-for-all, which pits 12 combatants against each other in a fast-paced, often chaotic brawl. Perhaps the biggest addition to Marvel Rivals is the debut of The Fantastic Four. Both Mister Fantastic and The Invisible Woman found their way onto Marvel Rivals‘ already-large roster in Season 1, with the rest of The Fantastic Four expected to join soon. Season 1 of Marvel Rivals is set to end on April 11.
