Champions of these leagues get direct access to the MLBB World Championship and receive exclusive MPL Badges. These badges are displayed on MLBB player profiles and now a few other players can also receive them. Let’s explore how to get these prestigious badges in MLBB!
MLBB distributes exclusive MPL Badges, that you can showcase on your in-game player profile
MOONTON Games and MLBB host several regional MPL league tournaments, such as MPL Philipinnes, MPL Indonesia, MPL Malaysia, MPL Singapore, MPL Cambodia, MPL LATAM, MPL Middle East & North Africa, and MPL Myanmar (which is temporarily unavailable). The MPL badge was originally introduced to verify professional players’ accounts. Apart from Profile, this badge is also displayed on the match loading screen.
This badge is not available to everyone, and you can’t obtain it automatically like the previous MCL or the new MLBB Rising titles. Initially, it served to officially verify a pro player’s account and distinguish them from regular players. However, the main purpose of the badge has changed, and it is no longer exclusively reserved for MPL winners or pro players anymore.
Now, the badge is also used to incentivize MLBB creators or Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) when they play and stream the game. MLBB officials distribute these badges, and you cannot directly request them. You cannot even get it as a temporary reward like borders and other in-game rewards. There are various perks if you become a KOL or creator, including the opportunity to earn this prestigious badge, along with diamonds and other incentives. I wish I tried becoming a KOL, as these perks are so cool!
