Rejoice, Dota 2 players! Valve has ever so kindly extended the deadline of Crownfall event until February 6, 2025.
As a result, if you still have a little more progress to complete in Crownfall, you have two extra weeks to do so.
Crownfall’s Final Bow
Today, Valve released a news post titled, “Crownfall’s Final Bow”, which frankly gave most players a panic attack from its title. Fortunately, Valve’s announcement was a delightful surprise instead, as they extend Crownfall’s end date to February 6. Note that this is the final time Valve is extending the Crownfall deadline (probably).
It’s nice that Valve actually listens to their fan base, whether you are a friend of a Dota 2 janitor, Jake “SirActionSlacks” Kanner, or that user who posted on Dota 2 Reddit forum begging for Crownfall’s extension because you almost completed it.
Nevertheless, the folks behind Crownfall’s development have prepared a parting credits to mark the end of their masterpiece. Although Crownfall’s deadline did get extended, today was supposed to be its original end date. As such, the credits sequence, featuring new music and some fun easter eggs, is available for players to interact with. Just click on “Play Credits” on the main menu of your Dota 2 interface to roll them.
How long to finish Crownfall Act 4?
By now, most Dota 2 players, who participated in the Crownfall event should already be in Act 4. In fact, if you haven’t started Crownfall at all, consider yourself too late because it takes a month to complete the whole event.
Not to mention that one of the toughest mini game in Act 4 is the Nest of Thorns, which will be difficult to complete.
If you’re hoping to pay your way to complete Crownfall, note that sale has ended in December 2024, so you would have to pay a hefty full price. Anyways, we would recommend using this available extended Crownfall time to push through progress as much as possible, and hope for the best.
