Butterscotch Shenanigans has revealed the upcoming launch date of their highly anticipated open-world crafting RPG, Crashlands 2, scheduled to launch on Android, iOS, and PC on April 10, 2025. The game is now available for pre-registration on Google Play Store and App Store, priced at $24.99 upon launch.
In Crashlands 2, you’ll get to return to the world of Woanope, with new adventures waiting
First announced on November 2024, Crashlands 2 is a comedic open-world crafting action–adventure RPG, and the sequel to the popular story-driven action-adventure RPG, Crashlands, which amassed more than 1.8 million downloads. In this game, you play as an intergalactic trucker, Flux Dabes, returning to the world of Woanope, to reconnect with some of your old pals, and recover from corporate burnout.
However, things take a turn when a mysterious blast from the planet’s surface, sends you crashing into a new land, far from your friends, all alone in an alien wilderness. From there, the adventure truly begins, allowing you to explore, uncover stories, harvest, complete quests, and craft a variety of gadgets, elixirs, and weapons to survive the dangers of Woaope.
I am excited about this sequel, although it seems quite costly, with enhanced graphics, a chance for fans of the original game to reconnect with Flux, and a lot of content, it looks enjoyable. I am also eager to team up with the ancient warrior Grandmammy, become a lab technician, sneak into dangerous facilities, and unite Woanope’s factions to restore balance to the planet.
Crashlands 2 is scheduled to launch on Android, iOS, and PC on April 10, 2025, for $24.99. You can pre-register for the game now through the Google Play Store or App Store. Moreover, you can also apply for the closed beta test, which will probably begin in mid-February, according to the devs, with more details scheduled for later.
