Clash of Clans January 2025 Streak Event issues addressed, duration extended for two days

The Streak Event in Supercell’s Clash of Clans, which arrived back on the 13th of January, 2025, faced technical issues that impacted one’s progress. After addressing it officially, it has been confirmed that the January 2025 Streak Event in Clash of Clans will be extended for two days, alongside introducing side events as compensation.

Speaking of the Streak Event bugs, the first task in the event was automatically marked as complete, while attacks for the second task did not count toward progression for some players. This was acknowledged by the development team the day after the event began on January 14th, 2025, after which the fix was ready to be applied via an update.

Supercell has since fixed the bugs and has announced compensation measures to make up for the inconvenience. To ensure you have enough time to enjoy the event, the duration of the Streak Event has been extended by two additional days. On top of this, two special bonuses will also be introduced.

As compensation for the issues faced in the Streak Event, the 4x Daily Star Bonus Event will run from Thursday, January 16, 2025, until Sunday, January 19, 2025, in Clash of Clans. Additionally, a 1-Gem Resource Boost will be available from Thursday, January 16, 2025, until Monday, January 20, 2025.

This is not the first time we have seen a bug, and might not be the last time either. In such big games, such small issues are common, and teams like Supercell put in quick efforts to fix them and compensate. On the positive side, it is pretty nice we had this bug because we got two extra resource-centric events thanks to this, while also having time on our side.
