Blizzard has revealed that World of Warcraft Classic will start Season of Discovery’s seventh and final phase on January 28, introducing the Karazhan Crypts dungeon and the Scourge Invasions event. Just over a week later, on February 6, World of Warcraft Classic guilds can enter the fabled Naxxramas raid, which will offer new twists for players to overcome.

Phase 7 of Season of Discovery will go live just two months after Phase 6 took World of Warcraft Classic players back to Silithus for the Scepter of the Shifting Sands quest chain and the Ahn’qiraj raids. As World of Warcraft’s raid squads delved into Ahn’qiraj to take down threats like the Old God C’thun, players reported seeing a mysterious Shadowy Figure throughout the desert ruins. Though players speculated that the Shadowy Figure was Xal’atath, the main antagonist of World of Warcraft: The War Within, the mysterious NPC only left passing comments about the Old Gods in Phase 6. It remains to be seen if the Shadowy Figure will make one final cameo in Phase 7.

Alongside Karazhan Crypts, the Scourge Invasion event will see swaths of undead monsters invade various zones and cities throughout Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms.
