Save a massive 39% on a 34-inch, 100Hz Samsung gaming monitor with USB-C input

If you’re quick, you can save yourself $110 on the cost of this ultrawide Samsung gaming monitor. The large, curved screen gets you a 34-inch panel with a 3,440 x 1,440 resolution and a 100Hz refresh rate, plus it includes a USB-C input with a high 90W power delivery, allowing this monitor to provide power to high-performance laptops.

Sporting a size and resolution that’s among our favorites for its balance of filling your vision while remaining not too large, this Samsung display is a great choice for those seeking a display for work as well as gaming. While many of the best gaming monitors might boast even faster panels, the tech here is ideal for those looking to hook up a work laptop with ease, while also falling back on their gaming PC when the working day is done.

The Samsung LS34A654UBNXGO is the full name of the display in question – Samsung does like a clear and easy-to-read monitor name – and while in many ways it’s a very similar display to this other 100Hz Samsung gaming monitor deal we highlighted a few months back, this display has a host of extra tech that makes it more appealing.

The biggest feature is the upgrade in video connections. That cheaper display only had HDMI inputs, whereas this LS34A654UBNXGO comes with a DisplayPort 1.2 input, two HDMI 2 ports, and that USB-C input. The latter means you can use a single connection to a laptop to provide a video connection and power, assuming your laptop doesn’t demand more than 90W of power. That does in fact eliminate a good proportion of the best gaming laptops but some entry-level gaming laptops with RTX 4050 GPUs will fit within this and nearly all non-gaming laptops will (outside of powerful workstation machines with professional-grade GPUs).

What’s more, this display has a USB hub with three USB 3 ports and it has an Ethernet port, so you can connect this display to your wired home network, connect all your peripherals to the USB ports, and again share it all via that one USB-C connection.

Another more premium feature is the fully adjustable stand, with height, rotation, and tilt movements. This makes it easy to get the monitor setup as you need.

The panel in this monitor is a VA-type LCD, which means it boasts low black levels and a resultingly high 4,000:1 contrast ratio. Combined with its 100Hz refresh rate and HDR 10 rating, this should make for smooth gaming with a punchy, engaging-looking image. AMD Freesync support is also present to provide image tear and stutter removal with AMD GPUs. It may also provide the same feature with Nvidia GPUs too, via G-Sync, but it isn’t rated as G-Sync compatible so it’s not guaranteed.

The slight downside is that this panel’s rated response time is just 5ms, which, given this will be a best-case measurement, makes this quite a slow-responding display. As such, it won’t be particularly well suited to those seeking a fast display for competitive gaming.

Still, for those seeking a display that ideally balances work and play while not breaking the bank, this Samsung gaming monitor deal is fantastic. just head on over to Amazon via this link to snag this bargain.
