Crafting the highest-quality outfits in Infinity Nikki of course requires the highest quality crafting materials, and thankfully they’re very much in abundance all over Miraland. There’s never a shortage of adorable and practical items for Nikki to find with her trusty companion Momo, and this fashion-forward gameplay has kept players enamored since the game’s incredibly successful launch in December 2024. However, some materials can be tricker to find than others.
One particular item in Infinity Nikki that you’ll probably find yourself making good use of is Beretsant Feathers. They aren’t found just anywhere though, and if you need to get your hands on some for crafting endeavors, you’ll need to know where to look.

How to Get Beretsant Feather in Infinity Nikki
Beretsant Feathers are not a particularly rare item in Infinity Nikki but they’re only found in two neighboring Wishfield regions – Stoneville and the Abandoned District. This means you won’t be able to obtain this particular crafting material until you’ve at least reached Chapter 3 in the main story questline, which introduces you to Stoneville and its inhabitants. As you progress and fulfill the necessary quests, you’ll also be able to reach the Abandoned District, which lies just beyond the town.
However, you’ll still likely find more than plenty of Beretsant Feathers in the humble, Lavenfringe-filled town of Stoneville, as the birds that carry them are literally everywhere. The bird in question is the Beretsant, a quirky-looking creature that resembles a cartoon’ish version of a rooster.
Their plumage is grey and black, while their crest is the shape of a red beret hat, hence their name. They’re most often found wandering and hopping around the homes and gardens of local Stoneville residents, often in pairs or small groups. However, they can also be found strolling any of the paths through town, as seen above. They make quite a bit of noise as they move, so despite their smaller size, they’re hard to miss.
As with other creatures in Infinity Nikki, to collect their Beretsant Feathers you will need the Bye Bye Dust ability outfit (or any of its fashionable alternatives). Make sure to equip it from the ability wheel, where all of your unlocked abilities are found, then approach a Beretsant. While other birds may be more skiddish, these are surprisingly docile and approaching them is easy enough. Once the blue brush icon appears over the bird’s head, groom it and you should receive 1 x Beretsant Feather in return, along with Grooming Insight.
If you have the appropriate node unlocked on your Heart of Infinity Grid for the Stoneville region, you can also obtain Beretsant Feather Essence after a successful groom, another valuable crafting item. What’s more, you can also unlock another grid node that awards bonus Grooming Insight points for the Stoneville area.
Both of these nodes can be found on the north side of the grid (as seen above), and the node that will unlock Beretsant Feather Essence requires at least 7,000 Grooming Insight. Further up the same branch, the node that unlocks Insight bonuses for all groomed items in the Stoneville area will cost you a minimum of 25,000 Grooming Insight. It can be quite a grind, but if you pay a visit to the Realm of Nourishment at any Warp Spire, you can use your daily Vital Energy to boost your Grooming Insight considerably, making the process much quicker.
If you need several Beretsant Feathers, remember that you can use your Map’s tracking feature to easily pinpoint the locations of more Beresant birds. Pull up your Map and look for the book icon at the bottom left corner of the screen. Select it and your Collections menu will pop up, showing every item you can currently track. This can include every type of feather in the game, including Hooded Feathers. As long as you gathered at least one of any item, you can use the tracker to find more.
Choose the pawprint tab and scroll down until you find the Beretsant Feather option. Select it and the nearest Beretsant location will immediately show on your map, indicated by an orange circle. Once you’ve groomed and gathered feathers from the Beretsants in that location, the next node will show on your map. If you gather at least 50 x Beretsant Feathers, you can also unlock the Precise Tracking feature, an upgraded version of the tracker that will show approximate locations for all Beretsants on the entire Wishfield map at once.
It may seem like a tedious task, but that upgraded feature can help you track down many of the game’s rarest crafting materials such as Crown Fluff with ease, no matter where you are in Wishfield.
