Ancient Civilization Parts
are among the multiple materials crucial for crafting advanced items in the game, but, they’re not easily acquired. This guide will show you how to obtain these materials and provide a method to help you acquire more of them.
Palworld is in Early Access, meaning that the details below are liable to change over the course of development.
Updated January 14, 2025 by Emre Pala: We have added the connection between Lucky Pals and Ancient Civilization Parts to this article. Additionally, we included information on how to obtain Ancient Civilization Cores. We also detailed the connection of both parts and cores to expeditions. Furthermore, we created tables showing which technologies require these resources.
How To Get Ancient Civilization Parts
Before you start farming Ancient Civilization Parts, it’s essential to know where and how to obtain them. This material is primarily dropped by the Alpha Pals, which are bosses, in the game, and facing these bosses is one of the most challenging aspects of the game.
Therefore, it’s crucial to be well-prepared with the best equipment and Pals in optimal condition before attempting these encounters.
There are two main types of bosses in the game that drop Ancient Civilization Parts:
- Open world bosses
- Dungeon bosses
Open-world bosses are relatively easier to locate on the map. As you uncover the map, their pal icons and levels become visible, enabling you to choose bosses that match your level.
On the other hand, dungeon bosses, or dungeons in general, are not displayed on the map, have a limited spawn time, and are scattered throughout the game world.
After you defeat or capture these bosses, you will get a number of Ancient Civilization Parts, and fortunately, they respawn after a certain period, allowing you to farm them.
Another way to obtain Ancient Civilization Parts is by sending your Pals on expeditions. No matter which expedition destination you send your Pals to, there is a chance they will obtain Ancient Civilization Parts. To shorten the duration of the expeditions, make sure to exceed the required firepower for the expedition destinations by sending many powerful Pals.
How To Farm Ancient Civilization Parts
As of the time of writing this article, the most effective method we’ve discovered for farming Ancient Civilization Parts involves selecting low-level open-world bosses that are lower in level than you. You can repeatedly fight with these bosses by moving back and forth between them since they do respawn.
After capturing or defeating Alpha Bosses, they will respawn; however, it takes 1 hour of real-time for them to respawn.
During the early levels, two accessible and easier-to-defeat pal bosses are Sweepa
and Gumoss
, both located southwest of the starting point in the game.
- Sweepa’s coordinates are -227, -593.
- Gumoss’s coordinates are -113, -629.
These bosses are not only low-level; both are at level 11, but they are conveniently located close to each other. Therefore, anyone above level 15 with a robust pal and good equipment should be well-equipped to defeat them.
After defeating or capturing both bosses, continue your in-game journey as usual. When nightfall approaches, return to your base, sleep, and then revisit the bosses’ location. They should have respawned and be ready for another round of farming.
Obtain Ancient Civilization Parts From Lucky Pals
Another method of obtaining Ancient Civilization Parts is through Lucky Pals. By catching or killing these Pals, you will acquire the parts. Distinguishing features of these Pals include:
- Glowing auras around them
- Being larger than normal
- Emitting a shiny sound
Unfortunately, there is no exact method to find Lucky Pals. However, if you increase the Pal Appearance Rate to three times through the World Settings, you will see more Pals, and your chances of encountering a Lucky Pal will increase as well. Additionally, since Lucky Pals glow, searching for them at night will make it easier to spot them.
Also, don’t forget to turn on the game’s sound so you can easily detect them.
Technologies Requiring Ancient Civilization Parts
In the table below, you can view which technologies require Ancient Civilization Parts, their levels, and how many of them you will need:
How To Get Ancient Civilization Cores
Additionally, some technologies in the later stages of the game will require Ancient Civilization Cores. The main way to obtain these is by defeating the tough raid bosses in the game.
