In a recent post on Twitter, popular Fortnite leaker Hypex claimed Mechagodzilla could be coming to the game’s Item Shop in the near future. Much like the design for Godzilla, Mechagodzilla would be modeled after the MonsterVerse version of the character. It’s rumored that the mechanical monster could cost 1,800 V-Bucks alone, but may be part of a larger bundle as well. From what’s known, Mechagodzilla will likely exist purely as a cosmetic option for players who wish to purchase it. However, Godzilla won’t just be a cosmetic in Fortnite, he will be a full boss on the map with a medallion players can claim for themselves during a match.
