Evo 2025 Lineup Includes Street Fighter 6, Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, And The Next Fatal Fury

The fighting game community will once again descend on the Las Vegas Convention Center this summer, as Evo 2025 will kick off another worldwide fighting game tournament August 1-3. The Evo team has officially revealed the full lineup of games that will be part of the festivities this year, with seven current games and one throwback tournament making the cut.

Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 will be this year’s Throwback Tournament, following Street Fighter III: Third Strike’s turn last year. Meanwhile, Fatal Fury: City Of The Wolves will make its Evo debut nearly four months after its April 24 launch, where it will join returning games like Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8.

Along with the eight main Arena tournaments, Evo has also announced an Extended lineup, with Rivals Of Aether II, The King Of Fighters XV, Blazblue: Centralfiction, Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2, and more set to be featured. More details on this extended list will be revealed during the inaugural Evo Awards in February.

The full Evo 2025 lineup, is below:

  • Street Fighter 6 (third Evo appearance)
  • Tekken 8 (second Evo appearance)
  • Guilty Gear Strive (fourth Evo appearance)
  • Fatal Fury: City Of The Wolves (first Evo appearance)
  • Mortal Kombat 1 (second Evo appearance)
  • Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising (second Evo appearance)
  • Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes (second Evo appearance)
  • Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 (throwback tournament, 12th Evo appearance)

The Las Vegas event is only one of a full calendar’s worth of events coming from Evo this year, with tournaments planned in Japan May 9-11 and France October 10-12. The team also announced a tournament to be held in Singapore in 2026, but no specific dates were revealed.

The aforementioned Evo Awards will also take place in Los Angeles on February 15, which will feature awards in multiple fighting-game-themed categories–such as Match of the Year and Fighting Game Release of the Year. The event will also include “never-before-seen announcements from some of Evo’s publishing partners” and a special four-player Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 exhibition featuring Justin Wong, Michael “IFC Yipes” Mendoza, Sanford Kelly, and Duc Do.
