Cyberpunk 2077: How to Romance Panam

Panam Palmer is one of the potential romance options for V in Cyberpunk 2077, but she isn’t going to be so simple to win over. There are quite a few quests involved in romancing Panam in Cyberpunk 2077, but it’s always worth it to help V find love in a loveless Night City, especially one as fiery and independent as the Aldecaldos’s own Panam Palmer.

To begin, players simply need to head into Act 2 of Cyberpunk 2077, and it’s essential that they are using the Male V Voice and Male V Body Type, otherwise, players will not be able to romance Panam. Other than that, players can look below to find every mission they need to romance Panam, along with every Panam quest that is integral to starting a relationship with her.

Complete Ghost Town

Ghost Town is a Main Job that players will acquire after the Playing for Time quest at the beginning of Act 2. Ghost Town will see players meet with Johnny Silverhand’s old flame, Rogue Amendiares in the Afterlife, who will then instruct V to meet a Nomad, Panam Palmer. While Panam and V don’t exactly get off on the right foot, things can change for both as long as V decides to help Panam. All players need to do at the start of Ghost Town is talk to Panam and agree to head to Rocky Ridge with her to get her car back from the Raffen.

It doesn’t matter if players decide to use stealth or go in loud against the Raffen in Rocky Ridge, but what does matter is when Panam gets her car back and asks for V’s help in getting revenge against Nash. When asked about her vengeance crusade, V will want to respond: OK. So where’s this hideout? This will then lead V and Panam to the Raffen Shiv hideout to kill him and his goons. Upon doing so, V can ask Panam Feel better now? to which they will head to the Sunset Motel to celebrate.

While at the Sunset Motel’s bar, V and Panam can celebrate with a beer, where players will want to select either:

• [Drink] To your ride!
• [Drink] To what’s ahead!

After a short conversation, V can flirt with Panam after she talks about getting a room, and V can say to her Maybe we get just one room? While Panam doesn’t get V’s flirtatious comment, it’s the right path to be on, and now players can head to sleep in the motel to end the Ghost Town mission.

Complete Lightning Breaks

Once players wake up from the Sunset Motel after Ghost Town, they can head downstairs into the garage to begin Lightning Breaks, where they can talk to Panam who is currently working on her car. This mission is rather straightforward, and players just need to follow the objectives to bring down the Kang Tao AV and kidnap Anders Hellman. No dialogue affects Panam’s potential relationship with V, but it’s best to just stick close to her and do what she asks to begin the next quest straight after, which is Life During Wartime.

Complete Life During Wartime

Heading to the crashed Kang Tao AV with Panam, V is tasked with resuming Mitch. It doesn’t matter if V or Panam shoot the Kang Tao guard, as Mitch will survive all the same. However, it’s best to select the dialogue option: I’m sorry about Scorpion, as the alternative is an unnecessary scolding in a moment of grief for the two Aldecaldos.

V can ask Panam for help or let him stay with Mitch, as this option doesn’t matter. However, when players do find Hellman at the gas station, and they are later confronted by the Aldecaldos and their leader Saul, players will want to select the dialogue option: It really wasn’t Panam’s fault. Staying on Panam’s side is important, so stick up for her against Saul. After the mission, players will receive a message from Panam, to which V can reply: Maybe Mitch was right. You should go back. Settle everything once and for all. After doing so, wait a few in-game hours or days and complete some Main Jobs and Gigs until Panam calls to start Riders of the Storm.

It’s urgent that players head to the Aldecaldos Camp after starting Riders of the Storm as failing to do so within 24 in-game hours will fail Panam’s romance quests.

Complete Riders of the Storm

After heading to the Aldecaldos Camp, Panam, and the Aldecaldos will ask for V’s help, as their leader, Saul, has been kidnapped by Wraiths. When Panam asks for help, V needs to select the dialogue: We’re chooms, that’s why, and then when it’s time to head out, it’s a safer option to select Yeah, ‘course when it comes to riding with Panam.

For this mission, V will need to head to the Wraith’s compound to save Saul. It doesn’t matter if V decides to use stealth or go in loud for this mission, as all that matters is that they head to the basement and save Saul. Once players are out of the compound and have escaped into the sandstorm, they can interrupt an argument between Panam and Saul by saying:

• Let’s take it easy – you’re both tired.
• Shitty idea, Panam’s right.

Sticking up for Panam against Saul provides the two with some alone time, where they crack jokes about being in a motel. There’s a flirtatious dialogue path that players will want to follow:

• Pleased with your stay, ma’am?
• You’d be more comfortable with your shoes off, ma’am.
• [Touch Panam’s thigh] Got a few ideas.

While Panam rejects V’s advances, after waking up in the morning, and with Panam on her motorcycle, V can approach her and select: [Stop Panam] Wait. About last night… Which will see Panam kiss V, and end the mission with Johnny’s approval as they watch Panam ride off into the Badlands.

Complete With a Little Help from My Friends

After a few in-game days, Panam will again call V for some assistance at the Aldecaldos Camp with the mission With a Little Help from My Friends. All players need to do at the start is just agree to help Panam when asked by selecting the option: OK, I’m in. Then, it’s best to just select I’m riding with you to stick with Panam for the ride.

After reaching the trainyard and climbing the top of the tower with Panam, the two can have a conversation where players will want to select the following dialogue options:

• [Stand by window] Missed you.
• So let’s start.
• Great plan. What went wrong?
• So far, so good.
• Why’s it different with me?
• [Touch Panam’s hand] Next time, try following that impulse.

This conversation will unlock further paths for Panam’s romance, so once players leave the communications tower and head to the Aldecaldos campfire outside, V can say he’s ready for some shuteye, but afterward, select the dialogue option: [Scooch closer] Gotten kinda cold. After waking up, players can complete the mission as instructed.

Complete Queen of the Highway

After With a Little Help from My Friends, players will have to wait an in-game day away from the Aldecaldos Camp, so just do Side Jobs and Gigs while waiting for a call from Panam to return to the camp. After which, head to Panam and enter the Basilisk, then flirt some more with Panam with the dialogue option: Nice and cozy in here.

After driving the Basilisk and shooting some abandoned cars, V and Panam will sync their synapses, and V can select the dialogue option: [Let Panam touch you] Oh, yeah. Let’s go. This will provide players with a love scene between Panam and V that solidifies their relationship.

Still, there are a few more dialogue options after the Basilisk battle at the Aldecaldos Camp:

• [Drink] Listen, what happened in the Basilisk…
• I’d love to. But I can’t.
• [Stand] I’ll think it over, I promise.

After waking up from the Relic’s malfunction, V will be asked to stay by Mitch and Saul, to which V will need to say: I can stay for a bit. Thanks. This will see Panam walk with V to their vehicle, where V can respond:

• Honestly? I dunno.
• [Kiss Panam] Thanks for being here for me.

This concludes Panam’s relationship quests, where players have now unlocked The Star ending for the future, and will be able to have a romance with Panam.

How to Go on Dates with Panam

Thanks to Cyberpunk 2077’s Update 2.1, players can now find the mission I Really Want To Stay At Your House once they have romanced a character they live with during their playthrough. This will allow players to read and reply to a message from Panam, to which V can invite her over to any of V’s apartments (except for Dogtown). While V and Panam can’t run wild in Night City, they can have a cozy night in the apartment where they can snuggle up together.
