This item appears to be a simple ceramic jug, but it’s actually so much more. By using the magic action and naming one liquid, the alchemy jug can produce up to a certain amount of that material. Though this may sound ineffective, there’s actually a lot a party can do this with.

Depending on the size of the carpet, this magic item can prove incredibly useful in combat and for exploration. In the 2024 Dungeon Master’s Guide, this item is offered in four sizes, ranging at max to six by nine feet, and able to carry 800 pounds. This means, if you play your cards right, your entire party can fly off into the sunset on a magic carpet.
Obviously, this can be incredibly useful for traversing great distances or unreachable heights. In combat, this can allow players to team up and rain destruction from above. Just hold on tight!

This is a simple yet effective magic item. True, only one person can wield this item, as it requires attunement. But, that doesn’t mean it can’t help the whole party out!
The Rod of Resurrection has five charges. By using a certain amount of charges, this item allows you to cast either Heal (one charge) or Resurrection (five charges). The item then regains one expended charge daily at dawn. But, be warned, if you expend the last charge, you’ll be forced to roll a d20, and on a natural one, the rod disappears.

For any horror-based campaign, the Spirit Board is a must-have. This wooden board operates like our real-life version of a Ouija Board. Though sometimes elusive, this board can be helpful for parties that are lacking a sense of direction.
The board has three charges and regains a charge at dawn. While touching the board, you can cast either Augury (for one charge) or Commune (for three charges). This simple item allows for easy usage of two spells. As long as you’re within 60 feet of the globe, you can command the item to emanate light that is equivalent to the effects of either the Light or Daylight spell. This item also floats alongside you, which is a nice perk.

Beginning as a small statuette, this item magically transforms into a large adamantine tower. The tower is 20 feet on one side, and 30 feet high. In addition, the tower is immune to the Knock spell and other types of magic that might allow assailants inside.
If your party is in a bind, or needs to escape combat, don’t overlook Daern’s Instant Fortress. It might just save your life out there. Or, you can use it proactively, and turn an unfavorable combat terrain into your own personal playground.

The Folding Boat is straightforward but highly effective. The item is a compact wooden box that can magically unfold into either a Rowboat or a Keelboat. Obviously, this is really useful if you need to traverse smaller bodies of water.
The boat can also be used for storage of items, provided they fit within a 12 by six by six sized box. The most important element of this item is that, when you’re done using it, you can carry it with you on land since it shrinks down!
