As Wuthering Waves players venture out into the sea to find the archipelago of the festival city Rinascita, they’ll also come across a variety of new enemies, landscapes, and puzzles. Once players unlock the 8 regions within Rinascita, they will come across the Averardo Vault; a heavily guarded fortress on the outskirts of the city.
The Overflowing Palette puzzle in Wuthering Waves is a special kind of puzzle that can be found in Rinascita and it involves solving some morphed paintings that can be found in the wild. Overflowing Palette Puzzle Averardo Vault 1 – Wuthering Waves
Once you head to Gold’s Landing and unlock the Resonance Nexus in the area, head north to find another Resonance Beacon. Teleport to that Resonance Beacon and head south on the map to find the first painting. It’s not very far from the area. The puzzle requires you to turn all the blocks green, so here’s how you can solve it:
- Select the red colour and turn all the blue and yellow blocks into red
- Next, select the green color and turn all the red blocks into green to finish the puzzle.
You’ll be awarded with 15 Astrites and the area will turn back to normal.
Overflowing Palette Puzzle Averardo Vault 2 – Wuthering Waves
The second puzzle can be found south of the previous point. You’ll need to teleport to the Resonance Beacon south of the Resonance Nexus, and then head further south on the map to find it. You can glide across the area since it will be below you and the objective here is to turn all the blocks green. You can solve the puzzle like this:
- Select the yellow color and turn all red blocks into yellow
- Then, select the blue color and turn all the yellow blocks into blue
- Lastly, select the green color and turn all blue blocks green to complete the puzzle
Overflowing Palette Puzzle Averardo Vault 3 – Wuthering Waves
From the previous point, head south on the map to find this Overflowing Palette. Quite frankly, you can fly across the cliff to the other side to find it, so just make sure to equip your new flight wings before you do. You need to solve the puzzle by turning all the blocks red, and here’s how:
- Selecting the red color and turning all the blue blocks into red
- Then, select red and turn all the remaining yellow blocks red to complete it.
Overflowing Palette Puzzle Averardo Vault 4 – Wuthering Waves
The fourth overflowing palette location can be found in the southernmost area of the region. You can use the Resonance Beacon at the south and glide southeast to find it. You need to turn all the blocks red and here’s how to do it:
- Select the yellow color and turn all blue blocks into yellow
- Next, select green and turn all yellow blocks into green
- Finally, select red to turn all the green blocks red.

Overflowing Palette Puzzle Averardo Vault 5 – Wuthering Waves
The final puzzle is a little far away from the rest of the ones. You can teleport to the Resonance Nexus in the area and then travel east on the map. You need to head up the stairs in front of you, using the cat’s paws to help you travel faster and past the special enemy. Glide off the cliff and then fly down towards the indicated area to find the Overflowing Palette.
You need to turn all the blocks blue and here’s how you can do it:
- Select the red color and turn all green blocks red
- Next, select the yellow color and turn all the red blocks yellow
Finally, select blue and turn all the remaining yellow blocks blue.
