Pokemon GO has many events that happen throughout the month to keep players engaged and able to earn more rewards and even get new Pokemon. These events can help players level up and also get higher CP for their Pokemon as well. All January Raids, Community Days, and Events
During these events, players will be able to earn more berries, items, and even special Pokemon. Players will also want to make sure ahead of time that they have some berries and Pokeballs to ensure they can get the best outcome of their experience during the event. Below is everything to know about January’s events.

- Shadow Raid Day (January 19)
- Steeled Resolve (January 21 – January 26)

Pokemon GO Spotlight Hours
- January 7: Voltorb & Hisuian Voltorb – 2x Catch Stardust
- January 14: Roselia – 2x Catch XP
- January 21: Paldean Wooper – 2x Catch Candy
- January 28: Yungoos – 2x Transfer Candy
These events will be taking place every Tuesday at 6 pm local time until 7 pm, lasting only an hour. Players will want to make sure they participate in these weekly to collect up Shiny Pokemon or make their Pokemon stronger.

- January 1: Giratina Altered Forme
- January 8: Palkia
- January 15: Palkia
- January 22: Deoxys Attack Forme & Deoxys Defense Forme
- January 29: Dialga
- February 5: Dialga
Raid hours take place on Wednesday from 6 pm to 7 pm local time. Players will be able to battle the Pokemon that are available in the Raid Battles at Gyms. Players will have the opportunity to catch the Pokemon as well. These are all of the events for January in Pokemon GO.
