Initially, not that much. However, recently we’ve had a major info drop. Starting with the Mai SF6 release date. Mai SF6 Trailer Releases

In a recent update, a new trailer has been released for Mai in Street Fighter 6. We’ve got a look at how they’ve been changed and updated to suit the new game. It looks like they’ll be a fun take on the character, with all the polish we expect from Street Fighter at this point.

Mai is technically a guest character for Street Fighter, having first appeared in Fatal Fury games. However, having appeared in SNK vs Capcom titles too, there’s already been some crossover. Now she’ll be making her debut in Street Fighter 6. It seems like the character has been rebuilt to better suit the gameplay in Street Fighter 6.

When Does Mai Release?

The big question with Mai SF6 is when does it actually come out? The character is currently due to release on February 5th. This is when they’ll unlock. Players with a pass for DLC updates will automatically get access to the character once the Street Fighter 6 patch hits. However, you can also buy the character individually. Good if you’re taking more of a selective approach to the DLC for this game.

Between the Mai SF6 release and the Capcom Cup that’s growing ever closer, there’s a lot going on in the game right now. It’s definitely worth heading back into Street Fighter 6 to see how the new characters affect the balance of things.
