More on Attack on Titan: The Last Attack
The movie is 145 minutes long (yes, almost two and a half hours), and the theme song is once again “Nisen-nen… Moshiku wa…. Niman-nen ato no Kimi e” (“To You 2,000… or… 20,000 Years From Now…”) by Linked Horizon — previously served as the theme song for The Final Chapters (Part 2), although the TV version of parts 3 and 4 had different opening and ending themes.
Yuichiro Hayashi and Hiroshi Seko returned as director and head writer, respectively. They both worked on all parts of the final season, the one in which MAPPA replaced WIT as the production studio, thus involving major staff changes from the previous seasons.
Other returning staff members from previous parts include Tomohiro Kishi (character design), Kuniaki Nemoto (art direction) and Daisuke Niinuma (chief animation direction).
Crunchyroll describes the movie as a “cinematic experience that combines the final chapters of the highly acclaimed anime series in one colossal film.” As they announced the distribution of the movie at CCXP24 in Brazil, it’s likely they will still announce dates for the premiere in other territories, such as Latin American countries and India, given they have been investing in those regions.
All Attack on Titan episodes are available to stream on Crunchyroll, both subbed and dubbed in several languages.
