Roselia Spotlight Hour Guide

The Spotlight Hour for this week will be on January 14th, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Players are encouraged to stock up on berries, Pokeballs, and incense for this Spotlight Hour to ensure they get the most out of the event. The Pokemon for the week is Roselia. This Spotlight Hour also gives players an x2 Catch XP bonus as well, which can help players gain some XP quickly during this event.

This Grass and Poison-type Pokemon is #0315 and is found within Hoenn Generation 3 — with a max Combat Power of 2114 CP, 186 Attack, and 131 Defense. Roselia is part of a three-line evolution. The first of its evolution is Budew to Roselia (25 Candies), then Roselia to Roserade (100 Candies with a Sinnoh Stone).

The player will receive three candies and 100 Stardust for catching this Pokemon.

Roselia can be traded within Pokemon GO and also has Pokemon Home Transfer as well. With being a Grass and Poison-Type Pokemon, Roselia is weak to Fire, Flying, Ice, and Psychic-type attacks, receiving 160% more damage. This Pokemon also receives reduced damage from Electric, Fairy, Fighting, and Water-type attacks (63% reduced damage). Grass-type attacks are the last type of attacks that gives the most reduced damage at 39%. There is a Shiny version of this Pokemon that is available. The best way to up the chances of getting a Shiny Roselia is using incense and also being prepared to use berries to make sure they can catch one if one pops up. The Shiny Roselia has a brighter green body and the roses are purple and black.
