Unlocking your Ascendancy in Path of Exile 2 is the biggest leap forward you can make for your character. Your Ascension class offers more specialized nodes to acquire that allow you to further customize the build you’ve chosen. It might take some time to unlock the Ascendancy through the Trial of Sekhemas in Act 2, but it’s well worth the trouble.
However, even after making it through the trial, it’s not all butterflies and rainbows.
