The adorably magical cozy adventure game Mika and the Witch’s Mountain will be released for Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on January 22, 2025. Mika and the Witch’s Mountain first launched in early access on August 21, 2024, and players will soon be able to enjoy the full version of the wholesome game, including some fun new additions and post-launch content.

As reported by Gematsu, development studios Chibig and Nukefist have confirmed that Mika and the Witch’s Mountain will leave early access and launch for consoles on January 22. The colorful game features broomstick gameplay, allowing players to fly around a mini open world, collectible items, and a heartfelt story filled with loveable characters. Recent early access patches for the game included highly-requested additions, such as a fishing mini-game, Churro and Kitten mini-games, pet companions, expanded language options, stylish cosmetics, and new achievements. All of this and more will be included in the full release on January 22, and the developers have confirmed that a post-launch patch titled “Into the Mont Gaun” will introduce dungeon gameplay similar to The Legend of Zelda franchise.

Chibig and Nukefist have stated that “Into the Mont Gaun” will be the final content patch to Mika and The Witch’s Mountain, noting that it will finally bring the game to the “completed state” that was first envisioned when it began as a Kickstarter project back in 2023.
