Kingdom Version 6.0 update “A Game of Truth and Deceit” is set to release on January 15th, 2025

Cookie Run: Kingdom is set to release the new Version 6.0 update “A Game of Truth and Deceit”. The update will be available after maintenance which will be held around 06:00 – 10:00 (GMT+9). The new update coming on January 15th and will bring a brand new story update along with new cookies, events, permanent content, and more

Some portions of this update’s content may change before its release. The finalized changes will be available in the patch notes once the update is complete. As it is, the new update will be filled with new content such as new Cookies, New Episodes, Limited Events, Toppings, Treasures, QoL updates, and more!

Cookie Run: Kingdom Version 6.0 Update: New Cookie Characters

Beast Cookie: Shadow Milk Cookie

• Rarity: Beast
• Type: Magic

Skill Description: Shadow Milk Cookie channels the energy of his other realm to begin a grand spectacle of Deceit. Inflicts Puppet Show at the enemy with the lowest Max HP (targets Cookies first excluding Safeguarded Cookies). The opponent’s Shadow Milk Cookie cannot become a target unless no other possible targets are left. For the duration of the Puppet Show, both the target and the nearby enemies sustain periodic damage.

The effect ends with a Grand Finale. Grand Finale deals damage to all enemies, deals damage proportional to Puppet Show’s target, and applies Taint on them. If the target is defeated before the end of the Puppet Show’s duration, a Soul Phantom will appear in their place. A portion of the damage sustained by the Soul Phantom until the end of Puppet Show will be inflicted as Grand Finale’s extra damage.

If Shadow Milk Cookie is defeated, he will assume his Shadow Form. He will summon his Puppets to fool the enemies and retreat to the other realm where he will gain the Power of Deceit. The Shadow Form effect will last until the Puppets are defeated. At the beginning of the battle, Shadow Milk Cookie will summon the Eye of Truth. Depending on the number of debuffs received by the team, including Shadow Milk Cookie himself, the Eye of Truth will gain stacks of Truth. More stacks of Truth will be gained whenever Shadow Milk Cookie uses his skill.

At a certain number of stacks, the Eye of Truth will remove all debuffs from the team and increase the amount of damage dealt by Shadow Milk Cookie at the expense of a greater amount of damage received. When Shadow Milk Cookie gains Power of Deceit, the Eye of Truth will transform into the Eye of Deceit, periodically gaining new stacks of Truth. At a certain number of stacks, it will emit a Tenet of Deceit, dealing damage and resetting the duration of Taint on the target (damage proportional to Max HP is capped at 300,000).

Epic Cookie: Candy Apple Cookie

• Rarity: Epic
• Type: Bomber

Skill Description: Candy Apple Cookie slams down a giant lollipop with a heave. Enemies hit will suffer from reduced ATK and DEF, and take increased damage. The lollipop will shatter, granting HP Shields for all allies and increasing their ATK. Candy Shards will deal damage to enemies, further increasing the damage taken.

Episode 7: Spire of Shadows

Starting from Stage 7-4, the Confusion effect will trigger. All attacks will increase the Confusion meter. Once full, it will trigger Distortion. On Hard, the meter will increase with each passing second. Distortion will decrease your team’s ATK and make them receive extra damage proportional to their Max HP with each hit received. Shadow Milk Cookie and Candy Apple Cookie’s ATK will increase and they will be healed with each hit received.

At certain stages, the Domain of the Deceit effect will trigger. Each second, the Domain of Deceit meter will increase. The filled meter will trigger Nasty Trick which will increase DMG received. Shadow Milk Cookie and Candy Apple Cookie will receive less DMG under the effect of Nasty Trick.

Tactical Skill “Other-realm Manifestation.”

Starting from Stages 7-17, you can use the Tactical Skill “Other-realm Manifestation.” Turns an area into a manifestation of the other realm. Its energy inflicts periodic damage onto the enemies, while Shadow Milk Cookie and Candy Apple Cookie gain the Distortion status. Other allies have their Confusion and Distortion meters reset. If you have Shadow Milk Cookie in the team, your enemies will immediately gain Taint.

Pure Vanilla Cookie’s Journey

Play the new episode, collect Pure Vanilla Cookie‘s memories, and complete his journey collection. With the addition of the new Episode 7, you will be able to send Bear Jelly Balloon expeditions there. You have to upgrade the Bear Jelly Balloon and clear the episode on Story or a higher difficulty first to unlock the expeditions.

Upgrade the Balloon to venture into Beast-Yeast and clear Beast-Yeast Stage 1-30 to unlock the Bear Jelly Balloon upgrade. Depending on the level/grade/rarity/condition of Cookies participating in the expedition, you can obtain Yeast Ore. There is a total of 60 units of Deceit Yeast Ore. Collect them to increase the amount of Rainbow Pearls obtainable at the Trade Harbor.

New Resonant Toppings: Deceitful Toppings

The new Resonant Toppings that can only be equipped by specific Cookies have been added. These Toppings can be equipped with Shadow Milk Cookie and Candy Apple Cookie. The set effect of Toppings will activate regardless of whether they are regular or Resonant Toppings, as long as all of the Toppings equipped are of the same set.

When the Bonus effect of Resonant Toppings is enhanced, Resonant Toppings have a higher minimum Bonus Stat value than regular Toppings. Additional bonus effects of Resonant Toppings may differ from those of regular Toppings.

Boss Rush

Challenge yourself by facing off powerful bosses! Strategize and set up a team of powerful Cookies to defeat bosses one by one. Your goal is to defeat the stage’s boss enemy to move on to the next stage. Each stage can be cleared over multiple attempts-the boss’s HP will not reset with each following attempt. When the boss’s HP drops below a certain point, the Rage effect will activate and pose an additional challenge. Try different battle strategies to defeat the boss!

Certain bosses in Boss Rush can enter Rage: you can check the details in the Boss Info screen. Bosses with Rage have HP meters divided into sections. Their Rage effect will activate when their HP reaches a certain threshold. Their weakness and attack patterns change when Rage Effect is activated. Utilize Synergy to defeat each boss effectively! Use Boss Rush Tickets to play in Boss Rush. More tickets can also be purchased with Crystals or by watching an ad.

Adjust your team’s composition to activate powerful Synergy Effects. Synergy Effects will allow you to battle each boss with greater efficiency: experiment with your team to achieve them! There are also hidden unexpected team combinations that will unlock special effects when battling against certain bosses. Look for clues to find them!

Raise your Suppression Level in Boss Rush to increase your power against stronger boss enemies. Obtain Suppression Spears to increase your Suppression Level. Open Battle Supply Chests in the Boss Rush lobby and clear boss stages to claim more Suppression Spears.

Activate additional bonuses depending on the total number of Stars the Cookies from your team have (Grade, Ascension, Awakening, etc.). Each Cookie can contribute up to 10 Stars. Awakening Stars are counted on top of the Grade and Ascension Stars. Beast Stars are twice as valuable. Open Battle Supply Chests available in the Boss Rush lobby.

These chests include Suppression Spears that are used to level up Suppression Levels and Challenge Coins that are used in the Boss Rush Shop. The rewards accumulate with time to allow players who joined this game mode later to receive the same number of items. Collect Challenge Coins and use them in the Boss Rush Shop to purchase various items.

Once you have cleared all the stages, you can challenge yourself to try and clear each stage quicker and renew your record. Ranking scores are calculated by adding up all the stage scores. Replay any stage to achieve a higher score! If you manage to beat your previous record, the new record will be taken into account. Each retry attempt will require Boss Rush Tickets x3.

Monster Menace and Marathon Event

From now on, Monster Menace will occur regularly. Quell the Monster Menace and obtain reward chests! From now on, Monster Menace can occur in all Beast-Yeast episodes. Clear Monster Menace stages to obtain chests with extra rewards, such as Soulstones, Beascuits, Etc.

Enjoy the new Monster Menace Marathon event. Whenever a new Beast-Yeast episode is added, you can claim additional rewards for clearing Monster Menace stages. While the event is ongoing, clear a certain number of Monster Menace stages to get the event rewards. Get certain reward chests depending on the probability, even when the event has ended.
