Different Editions Of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth On PC Explained
PC players have two editions of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth to choose from: the Standard Edition and the Digital Deluxe Edition. As expected, the latter offers additional content, but what exactly does it include, and is it worth the extra cost? Let’s break it down.
Standard Edition Of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
The Standard Edition of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is priced at $69.99. However, thanks to the pre-release 30% discount, you can grab it for $48.99 if you purchase before January 23.
This edition includes only the base game, with no additional content beyond the Posh Chocobo summoning materia, a bonus available with both editions of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. If you’re simply looking to experience the core game, the Standard Edition is the most budget-friendly choice.
Digital Deluxe Edition Of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
The Digital Deluxe Edition is the more expensive option, priced at $89.99. However, with the pre-release discount, you can purchase it for $62.99. This edition offers several extra goodies, including:
- Base Game

Is Digital Deluxe Edition Of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Worth It?
For most players, the content in the Digital Deluxe Edition might not justify the extra cost. While the Art Book and Mini Soundtrack are nice additions, many players may not even open them. As for the extra gameplay items, such as the Summon Materia, Accessory, and Armor, they’re a nice bonus but don’t add significant value to the core gameplay. They mainly serve to enhance the experience for those concerned about missing out. Since the edition doesn’t offer any major expansions or DLC, the Standard Edition may be the better option for those looking to save money.
