She then opens her hands to reveal that they’re bloody and says, “Today’s the day.” Blumhouse is known for producing a variety of great movies, from supernatural tales like Ouija: Origin of Evil and Unfriended twists on the slasher like Happy Death Day and Freaky. It looks like The Woman in the Yard is a powerful paranormal story about one family’s quest to survive against a foe they don’t understand. The movie stars Estella Kahiha, Peyton Jackson, Russell Hornsby, and Danielle Deadwyler as the family and Okwui Okpokwasili as the woman.
