Although this shows that the richest man in the world still has time to play, it also raises some doubts among some players. They ask whether Musk is really the master behind these game achievements.

Controversial Twitch streamer Asmongold weighed in on the situation and challenged Musk’s credibility with regard to his gaming achievements, suggesting that Musk would probably not personally reach Level 97 in Path of Exile 2. Asmongold even made the bold promise to stream on Twitter for a year if Musk could provide solid evidence of his achievements. This would not be an exclusivity agreement, as the content creator would simultaneously stream on Twitch. Asmongold also mentioned that this might be more about Musk’s “ego” and that people would probably like him more if he was honest instead of trying to impress them with big achievements that he might not have done himself.
Asmongold Challenge Offers Musk a Chance to Boost Twitter Streaming
At this point, it’s uncertain if Musk will respond to the challenge posed by Asmongold; however, it gives him quite the opportunity to widen the reach of Twitter into game streaming. Asmongold is one of the most followed streamers, boasting more than 3 million followers on his primary Twitch channel, and if he streams on Twitter, it could help that platform finally begin to realize Musk’s streaming plans. Previously, Elon Musk revealed details of Twitter’s revenue-sharing model that allows content creators to earn from ad revenue while offering features like tipping and paid subscriptions.
It is worth noting that Asmongold has made headlines for saying things about Tesla and SpaceX boss Elon Musk before. For instance, Asmongold voiced his support for Musk in November 2024 for including Twitch in a suit that he made against companies accused of boycotting Twitter.
