Jujutsu Kaisen marked an end to its incredible journey recently, and fans were delighted to see their favorite characters get the endings that they deserved. When it comes to the main trio of the series, all of them got a surprisingly good ending too. However, not all of them were handled well in the story. Sadly, Megumi and Nobara only had a few roles in this segment, and fans were left disappointed by their potential never being fulfilled.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Adult Yuta Vs Yuji – Who Was The Strongest?
Yuji and Yuta are two powerful sorcerers in JJK. But which one is stronger at the end of the story?
That said, they’re active sorcerers now and there’s room for tremendous growth for both of these characters and that’s something that fans are looking forward to seeing already. When it comes to Megumi Fushiguro, his potential is scary and fans absolutely cannot wait to see what kind of sorcerer he goes on to become in the future and what level of strength he holds.
The Power Of A Tamed Mahoraga
- Megumi Never Mastered The Power Of Mahoraga
- Adult Megumi Would’ve Mastered This Ability
Megumi Fushiguro was always fated to become one of the mightiest sorcerers and that’s something fans were told quite early on in the series. According to Gojo himself, Megumi had the potential to get to his level, and much of that was down to the fact that he held the power of the Ten Shadows Technique. Long ago, a leader of the Gojo Clan with the Six Eyes and the Limitless fought and a leader of the Zenin Clan with the Ten Shadows Technique fought each other to the death, showing how close their powers were. Megumi, if he were to master the powers of his cursed technique, would go on to hit similar heights in the future, and that was very well established in the early parts of the story.
Winning by dying and winning even if you die are two different things. – Gojo Satoru
As the series progressed, fans saw Megumi’s control of the Ten Shadows Technique grow. He showed significant growth in the Culling Game arc, but unfortunately, Megumi was nowhere near fulfilling his potential. Given that Megumi had access to a total of 10 shikigami, fans never got to see him control the power of Mahoraga, the divine general and the strongest of the lot. Megumi made use of the beast in the Shibuya Incident arc, where it was eventually stopped by Sukuna. However, he never learned to control his powers properly.
Fans for a display of what a tamed Mahoraga is capable of when Sukuna fought Gojo in Megumi’s body and it is safe to say that he was an absolute monster who was primarily responsible for the defeat of Gojo Satoru. Without Mahoraga, Sukuna may well have lost the battle against Gojo, and that’s what truly matters. If Megumi were to tame this power and use the ability of adaptation, he’d automatically become one of the strongest characters in the entire world of JJK. His strength would be on a completely different level and his enemies would then have to carefully decide their steps against him, all down to the power of adaptation. But, more than that, he’d also have the Sword of Extermination, which is overflowing with positive energy, and is the bane of cursed spirits. Undoubtedly, Megumi would be a monster in combat.
The Power Of A Complete Domain Expansion
Megumi’s Chimaera Shadow Garden Would Be The Gateway To Hell For Anyone
Megumi Fushiguro showed his domain expansion quite early in JJK. Fans saw him utilize Chimera Shadow Garden against a finger bearer early on, but back then, his domain expansion was half-baked. Megumi risked his life to gain access to this tremendous power and what fans saw inside was absolutely spectacular. Megumi could utilize the shadows to produce as many of his shikigami as he wanted and delivered one blow after another to his enemy. Granted he completes this domain, he would theoretically be able to utilize multiple fusion beasts, such as Agito, inside the domain, and more importantly, utilize powers such as Mahoraga over and over again.
One Mahoraga on its own is impossible to deal with for the vast majority of the JJK characters. If there is more than just one, the best course for Megumi’s opponents would be to simply give up.
What I’m saying is that the next generation won’t stop at Special Grade. – Gojo Satoru
The domain also boosts the power of all of Megumi’s attacks, as well as the Shikigami themselves. A 120% boosted (or potentially higher) Mahoraga would spell doom for the vast majority of Megumi’s enemies, and that is precisely what makes this technique as special as it is.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Why Yuji’s Shrine Is Better Than Sukuna’s, Explained
Yuji and Sukuna can both make use of the ability of the shrine. Yuji’s might be better in JJK.
That, when combined with the fact that Megumi can control shadows to create his own clones, and on top of that, gain a sure hit technique that will obliterate his enemies, just goes to show that Megumi Fushiguro would be truly unstoppable as a sorcerer and someone worthy of fighting evenly against the likes of Yuji Itadori, Yuta Okkotsu, and just about every mighty sorcerer that exists in the JJK world. Megumi’s power would actually make him a phenomenal contender for the position of the strongest modern sorcerer and that’s undebatable.
Additional Techniques That Make Megumi Invincible
Megumi Would Have More Than Just His Cursed Technique
Megumi Fushiguro would most certainly rely on his Cursed Technique as a sorcerer when he masters it. However, that doesn’t mean he can’t improve upon other things. For instance, Megumi would’ve gained control over the power of Reverse Cursed Technique, which when combined with his Shikigami, would give him extra healing power. He would have to learn anti-domain techniques, such as Domain Amplification, among others. One massive thing that comes to his advantage here is Sukuna having resided in his body, giving him muscle memory for how to switch between Cursed Technique usage and Domain Amplification effortlessly. Anything Sukuna utilized in Megumi’s body would be of use to him and would allow him to reach the next level as a fighter.
On top of that, there’s a slim chance of Megumi inheriting the power of the Shrine as well. It must be remembered that Sukuna being in Yuji’s body bathed him in his cursed energy and resulted in Yuji gaining the Shrine. Something similar could happen with Megumi as well. If anything, Sukuna used more of the Shrine in Megumi’s body than in Yuji’s, and if he were to go on to awaken this fascinating technique, there is absolutely no denying the fact that he would then go on to become the strongest modern sorcerer and surpass even Yuji. Of course, fans will have to wait patiently to see any of this happen in the future of JJK, provided the author continues to drop some extras every now and then.
